I haven’t had affordable and quality Japanese food in a while. The bento lunch box is guaranteed to fill you up and the flavors are thoughtful. I’m from Raleigh and out there people don’t know what good and affordable food means. There’s a Waiter there, tall and very polite I didn’t catch his name but when you meet him you’ll know . The one who’s beaming with hospitality and love.
Added 10% fee for takeout? These types of scummy/slick business tricks are a huge turn off and shows the less appetizing underbelly of the owner(s).
This is by far my favorite sushi and hibachi place! My first time was 4 days ago and I’ve been back 3 times already! Such great service, friendly staff and quality food! Ivan is very kind and attentive! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant!
Very good sushi. We were new and the waiter have us several little samplers to try while waiting for it order. Definitely going to return.
I have to say tempura was amazing today! Even the tempura is order from Uber eat. It is still crispy!
First time visiting and I loved everything. The waiter Ivan was wonderful! I ordered the hibachi chicken, firecracker roll and Miso soup. I will definitely be back!
This is my favorite place in and around Columbia for sushi. They have a large selection of side dishes too. The cucumber kitchen and the teriyaki eggplant are amazing. Tonight we went out for my birthday - and - again, it was amazing food, and great service.
This is a review as someone who ordered. I went with some of the most popular suggestions via the app. The miso soup was only broth, no tofu/seaweed. The sushi roll was great, no complaints. The cucumber kimchi tasted like freshly canned cucumbers to make pickles which made me sad because I absolutely love cucumber kimchi. The seaweed salad had a film of grease on it with zero flavor. I'd give it another try in person.
Food was good, but the restaurant seems to be very understaffed. Tried to call to clarify something and never got an answer. It took almost 30 min longer than the “estimated” time to get our food, white sauce was missing, and 2 side salads missing. $43 for 2 plates.
The Birthday Roll was some of the best sushi I have ever had! The staff were kind and the food was wonderful!
