Decided to go out and have mom's night out! What better way than to have sushi and drinks right?!? Had a few watered down martinis & a glass of water, was never asked if we wanted anything other than water. While the sushi rolled in one the ladies never received a Hibachi dinner she ordered during happy hour. She brought us our checks and decided to go ahead and add gratuity mind you the menu says for groups "over 5" there were 5 of us. She told us to take it to take it up with the people in the front. We passed another table that had just got up that so happen to have 5 people as well and interestingly enough they were not charged an automatic gratuity. Now if that wasn't stereotyping. Let's back up on our server "Elizabeth" maybe she was having a bad day because that's what her service exuded, no drink refills, hell we never saw her until she asked if we wanted our checks. We were still going to tip her well because we get it but at the end of the day if you're tired of don't like your job do us all a favor and quit.

I enjoyed my food. My waiter was nice and it was Valentines Day but I felt he could've been a tad bit more attentive. We ordered drinks, then appetizers, then sushi but then we had to flag him down literally like 20 to 30 minutes later to ask if we could order food. He took the order but bc of the wait by the time our order was placed they had already discarded the soup for the day which we wanted but overall everything was prepared well and I will definitely return.

Every time we are in Columbia, we go to Tsunami. We always sit at the bar because our favorite bartender, Adam, is so helpful, quick to serve and provides hilarious banter. The sushi is always on point and having this gem in the Vista is the highlight of our trip. Thank you, Adam, for making us feel right at home!

Came to tsunami on a Friday night, there was a wait for a table so we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was great, he was so friendly and helpful. My friend got hibachi and it was super good. Adam recommended a few different sushi rolls which I tried and LOVED. Great service and great food. Will definitely be returning to take advantage of their happy hour menu!

This place was delicious! Sushi was fresh and our entrees tasted great. Hot sake carafe definitely worth a try. Our waiter was attentative and nice.

When I tell yall I am at home about to throw up!I was first introduced to this place 10 years ago. I have great memories from going here with friends and family. I use love the sushi and fried cheesecake. What I got tonight was dried out salmon on my sushi. Mussy tempura and nausea. They have definitely gone down in quality. This is not the Tsunami I remember. I wont be back

Neat place with decent sushi at happy hour and good service. My daughter and I were down for a basketball ball game and stayed at the Hampton Inn down the street and decided to try this place before the game. Fun atmosphere but we were there right at opening. Service was good but there were only a couple of other tables. Worth a shot for sushi - happy hour had 3 rolls (limited selection) for 11.95 and other options and drink specials. Plenty of options around but my daughter loved it so would probably try it again.

Increased prices and decreased quality from even mid-pandemic. Our rice was clumped together and chicken was overcooked with barely any sauce. The fried rice also doesn’t have egg or ANY flavor besides soy sauce?! Go spend your money elsewhere. The dog food in the store is only $3 as a viable alternative.

Sushi was not great, i got a vocano roll and it was more like lasagna, and the other special roll was meh, kinda expensive but not terrible

It's understandable that dining out won't be like it use to be with covid but those in our party who got kitchen entrees as opposed to sushi had to wait over an hour for food to come out, and once they got their food it was cold/lukewarm. Taste wise everything in general was very generic sushi American Japanese steakhouse food, mediocre quality. It wasn't inedible but it definitely was not the best quality sushi I'd had considering the price, my friends said the miso soup tasted and smelled funny. Don't go here for an authentic/traditional style Japanese dining experience, go somewhere better for your sushi fix unless you just want a mediocre experience and poor service timing. Our server was pleasant and attentive, but seems the kitchen needs some help. ?‍♀️
