Ordered drink, had no syrup in it at all. The young gentleman advised he probably forgot to add syrup. We asked for correction and the young lady had an attitude, pretending to not hear us and then proceeded to clean all mixers and make 6 other drinks before correcting and remaking the drink. Bad attitude destroys business. 3:50pm on July 14th, 2022. Also all wearing AirPods while working and not paying attention.
Tropical Smoothie workers are great and recently majority of them left due to working conditions and low pay. I go there everyday to get a Paradise Point and loved it. Once majority of the workers left I noticed prices went up drastically. I would get charged different amounts each day of the week. Paradise Point was originally 4 dollars now it’s 6.15. I attached my bank statement. I will be spending my money at Smoothie King:)
Twice now I have been in to pick up online orders and not been acknowledged by staff at all. Online orders are out on a shelf for anyone to grab if they chose to, every other location I've been to keeps them in a cooler behind the counter. Online orders for this store are defaulted to add a 15% tip, which I might add myself if the service warranted a tip.Smoothies and food are good but if they don't shape up I will actively avoid this store and use Killian location instead.
I went into this establishment on 10/24 Sunday to purchase a strawberry limeade which is the only smoothie i usually get. I placed my order and it was not busy at all maybe 4 people waiting for their food and drink, time was about 1237 pm. I waited 20 minutes for one smoothie while i watched the young man, he appeared to be asian( stated this for management purpose only so they will know who was working possibly, he didn’t have a mask on either), play on his phone texting and calling someone while customers waited for him to prepare their drinks. Apparently he doesn’t know how to prepare the smoothies bc he kept asking another staff member after preparing the drinks what was the drink he prepared so he could call the customer up to retrieve. I watched him fix my smoothie leave it in the blender for five minutes to prepare other smoothies. Then pulled out his phone to text and call again while customers were standing there waiting. He then proceeded to place different smoothies on the counter where the pick up area is located without stating which smoothie was which. I knew which one mine was bc i watched this young man the entire time preparing the drinks. i walked up to the counter next to two other people who were standing near the smoothies and retrieved my smoothie while the you g man continued to use his cellphone. He walked around with no urgency whatsoever as if no one was on the establishment. Once i tasted my smoothie it was disgusting not much flavor and could not really taste the strawberries like i can normally at any other tropical smoothie. There needs to be training on proper customer service, and apparently how to prepare the smoothies with this young man. maybe if he paid more attention to what he was doing with smoothies and not his cellphone the drinks would be better. The other staff member was unprofessional in appearance bc she had a hoodie sweatshirt on with her head covered the entire time.I will not be returning to this location
Hey guys i loved this place i felt welcome as soon as i walked into this shop. It was very clean and neat, it smelled liked fresh fruits they have very healthy drinks. Great workers
Disappointed. So, I order the same drink every single time I visit a Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Unfortunately, my first visit to this location will also be my last. All the other locations that I visit make my Mocha Madness with Peanut Butter amazingly... This location not only forgot to add the peanut butter, but it was like drinking straight coffee grounds with sugar. It wasn't until a couple sips in, that I realized just how much it was full of coffee grounds. Completely boycotting this location....(I would like to note that I do not find any coffee grounds from this particular smoothie at other locations.)
Had the Blimee Limee and it was Great. I enjoyed it.
I was in the mood for something cool to beat the heat but healthier than ice cream. This was my first visit and I was just given the wateriest smoothie I've ever had! You can literally barely taste the fruit, the whole thing went in the trash. I always read reviews before trying any new eateries but didn't think I needed to for something as simple as a smoothie. Apparently, I got the inept evening crew other reviews mentioned. Money wasted!
I went inside the store this morning at about 9:00am. No other customers were in the store, the man behind the counter was making a smoothie, he did not say “one moment “ or anything. I am still the only customer in the store. Once he is done making the smoothie I just new he would acknowledge me or something.... Nope!!! He goes to answer his cell phone. Clearly they don’t need my money. I walked out and will never go back.
Angelina is such a great worker, she makes the best smoothies ever…she literally made my smoothie in under 5 seconds. super good worker.
