Love this place! I've known the owner since the mid-80s and there isn't a more honest guy in town. He's always provided great service at a reasonable price for a delicious product. If there is an issue between him and someone else, my money is that the other person wanted something unreasonable or has an entitled attitude toward life.

This is the best place in columbia for smoothies and a healthier/lighter lunch alternative. My favorite smoothie is the “Incredible Hulk” (Island Green). The wraps are also great as veggies are always fresh. The highest complement I can give is that I go out of my way to go to tropical smoothie.

If this Tropical Smoothie Cafe has given you such a traumatic experience perhaps you need a good therapist. Giving the business a nasty review is both asinine and childish. Did anyone give the business a chance to correct the problem on site? From the comments it appears you people would rather hide behind their computer with threatening words and actions. As the old saying goes "you can catch more flies with honey instead of vinegar" Learn to make smoothies at home if you are this hard to please

Best service and smoothies in South Carolina. Anyone that feels differently is acting intentionally militious.Dave Duffy is a veteran, considerate, compassionate, professional and great leader of young staff learning to perform in the service industry.Visit this fantastic store and enjoy one of South Carolina’s finest cold and tasty smoothilicious treats, served by great, hard working people with a great sense of humor.

So this is a google review where you can freely give a rating, but if you give anything but a 5 star review, you are verbally attacked by the owner or subliminally by her friends. This is ridiculous, unethical, and unprofessional. SMH. No one has to comment on their reviews and everyone is not going to give you a great rating as everyone experiences are different. Get some customer service training and quit harassing customers leaving reviews. Just my opinion. Someone should report the business to BBB to be honest. This is not best practices. Seems like bullying. This is my opinion and rating. I didn’t like my experience. I don’t need a rude comment from the owner. Actually, no customer needs a rude response from the owner.

This tropical smoothie is the worst place to even stop at. The manager has such a terrible attitude. And they never answer the phone, do better. Don't even bother stopping by & wasting ur money on terrible service.Edit: love how you made a 5 star review claiming that I know the person who commented "Cici Marquez" Maybe focus on treating your employees & guest better rather than making yourself look good with a "5 star" rating when your service isn't good. :)

If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would.. TERRIBLE customer service.. I think they need to get new employees or just close down. Went there to buy my niece a smoothie and had it practically thrown at me. I’ll travel before I go back. 10/10 would NOT recommend!!

The service was absolutely horrible. Employees are extremely rude. Food isn’t the best & the place doesn’t look very clean either. And don’t even bother calling ahead cause they’ll keep you on hold and forget about you

We went through the drive thru as it was very busy. Tried the pomegranate plunge. I really liked it. Also ordered chicken pesto flatbread. It was yummy. I like Tropical smoothie. Always good fresh food.

(Wasn’t going to rate or comment; but after reading the “owners” blatant passive-aggressive and backhanded responses to others. I have decided to state my own observations, as well take my business else where from now own). (Day one customer). Two particular employees have extremely bad attitudes. I can tell each and everyday their only bringing the company and team down. As well, It’s pretty bad when one can order a specific flavor, but it seems to taste different each time (made by said employees). Isn’t there a step by step for ingredients and mix??? - would suggest, hospitality training; because, if one chooses to work in the service industry, one should understand how to provide a somewhat enjoyable experience that doesn’t lead the costumers to feel guilty for even ordering. Just (suggestions) Though I will not see any come to fruition.
