I love this place. The bartenders and servers are all great. Very friendly and accommodating. The food is unique and always tasty. The cocktails are fantastic. Every year on July 7 is Bob Day and it is a fantastic night at the bar. Come on any day but definitely on Bob Day.

Good food, but I didn’t get to have much of it due to poor service. Got seated at a table with no waiter/waitress. Tried and failed to flag down the employees that were giving great service to the other tables.Ordered drinks and food at the bar and had to carry the drinks back myself. Waiter delivered the food (but forgot an item), and did not come back to check on us. Had to cash out at the bar. There were 3 employees hanging out by the register with their hands in their pockets who were happy to help me cash out.

Amazing wood-smoked scent as soon as you enter! Fast service. Rustic, homey atmosphere. Some unique food menu items, and classics were present as well. Highly recommend the cheese board with local honeycomb.

Loved the atmosphere and food names in the menu, but food taste and quality just did not match up to the name. Smoked ribs were dry, not juicy and tender and would have been served better if mustard sauce was served on the side instead of slathered heavily on the rib. Rib eye steak was great. Served as requested and really full of flavor. Deviled eggs, crispy pork belly and smashed and fried potatoes were good, but flavor did not really pop. Definitely will return on my next visit to Columbia.

In town for a night and War Mouth came highly recommend. We ordered two snacks, three small plates and a main to share and it was just the right amount. Service was great and they timed our dishes appropriately so we could enjoy each one without feeling rushed,or having the food get cold.

If unsmoked pork is your thing go for it. Got the BBQ pork plate and the pork tasted like it was cooked in the finest crock pot. It was slightly chewy and had no smoke flavor. Full disclosure we went on a Tuesday. The cole slaw was good. Service was fine, everyone was nice.

Bartenders are great!! Fried green tomatoes best I've ever had!

This is one of the best restaurants in the Columbia area. The food is outstanding, and the service is great. It’s hard to describe but everything they have tastes incredible. You need to dine here.Pro tip: get the pickle platter as an appetizer. You’re welcome.

Dare I say it? Best restaurant in Columbia. I haven’t tried them all but safe to say best so far. The venue, the menu, the flavor, the service. All spectacular.

An awesome place. The food is phenomenal and the drinks are strong. It has a real neighborhood feel. Must order the catfish and grits!
