Texas roadhouse in columbia is trash thier store manager was on the grill last night and sent this out to his customer along with 3 plates of raw chicken that was still cold in middle to a group of kids please share this before someone truly gets sick. The 2nd steak they brought me was 10x worst and bloody then this one and cold in the middle! Store managers name: Jeff kranski

Sooo granted it was super busy and I had a 4 person party BUT the hosts were pretty rude a manager overheard them and had to step in. Fast forward our food was so good! BUT we never did get that salad and when we asked for it (the 2nd time) our waiter explained it was too late the kitchen had closed?? (We were still charged for it) So to summarize we waited an hour for good food but bad service from the door to the register.

This is a great sit down style restaurant. Perfect for couples or families. Great cooked to order food for lunch or dinner. The rolls are legendary and they truly do cater to veterans on Veterans Day! The portobello ? mushroom chicken is not to be missed! Although the prime rib even when other places did not have it was pretty good ? also! Service ?‍ ? with a smile ?!

good place, service and food

Food and service were excellent. Closing at 20 pm, however, was a bit unexpected. Move time to 11 pm!

Curbside takes forever and these are the ribs they gave me - none eaten in both pics. It looks like someone already are half of them. I got 2 ribs and 2 rib bones. RidiculousThen, my Mac and cheese came in a plastic microwavable bag. What happened Roadhouse?!!!(For reference, that's their smaller Togo box, not the big one)

We love Texas Roadhouse but are sad to report that our experience at this location this time was truly unsatisfactory. We called ahead because we had a party of nine, and a birthday. We were told they don't take reservations, which is understandable. They said they likely couldn't accommodate us all at one table but that they could seat us near each other. When we got there at 4:30 on a Sunday, we used Yelp to claim our place in line. Waiting 75 minutes, watching no less than 25-30 parties be accommodated, we assumed our wait was so that we could be seated together. Halfway through that wait I had to enter the restaurant to change our son and in making my way to the bathroom I noticed more than half a dozen booths side by side that were available. When we were finally seated, only after requesting an update, we were advised we could not sit in the same section. At best, half of our party would sit in the bar and they could peer over their wall and see us across the hall. We were told we could combine the checks despite being in different sections, by the manager. We ordered three porterhouses, amongst other cuts. Then had to change our order after being told they had none left. Our waiter didn't know if the restaurant does daiquiris. After we checked with the bar, they do daiquiris but their ice crusher was down... And no offer to make a daiquiri on the rocks. We had a baby with us, which I mentioned at the beginning of this review. The ONLY tall highchair that would stand tall enough to reach our booth was not safely equipped with safety restraints. Almost every high (step-up) booth was being used in this restaurant and they only have one tall highchair. I took pictures of the broken restraints as well as the completely empty lower table section in which the lower high chairs would work. That section would have also accommodated our party of nine nicely.Food took quite a while to come out, but wasn't too bad. When we requested the check all on one, the manager left it up to the wait staff to figure it out. The young lady who was the waitress for our alternate table had the added worry of wondering if, in our distaste for our experience, were we going to stiff her on the check. Of course we didn't.This restaurant is being very poorly managed. After being told we would be able to at least be in the same section, we were completely separated. Not only that, there was an empty booth right next to us (and was not used during our meal, and not for COVID reasons). We were told that they could not seat both booths at the same time. Having been wait staff myself in the past I am familiar with how sections and seating works. There was ABSOLUTELY no reason for the power trip the manager at this location felt the need to display. Nor did she make any apologies for it, nor did we see her at any point during our meal.We will not likely be visiting a Texas Roadhouse for a while and certainly never that location again. And it's a darn shame because my husband and I are both 20+ year military veterans and have always thoroughly respected and enjoyed what Texas Roadhouse does for military members. We didn't leave the restaurant until almost 7:30. Such a shame.

This really saddens me to review. My wife and I went there for lunch about three weeks ago. Ginny was our waitress and fantastic! I had the country fried steak, and it was as large as a toilet seat! Food was hot, service was incredible, and despite the 20 minute wait; once we sat down we were in and out quickly! Frankly, I was impressed! So impressed, my wife returned that night with her sister and a few other family members. Night time service she said was horrible. The waitress was inattentive, the food order was wrong, the bill was incorrect. This after a two hour wait.Had I reviewed just on lunch, it would have been an easy five star review. But my wife's visit a few hours later had her so angry at Texas Roadhouse, they can expect us never to return. I therefore can't recommend it.

It was a curbside order. Unfortunately I didn’t check my food before driving off. I ordered a NY Strip medium well, Caesar Salad, and strawberry cheesecake with a loaded baked potato. My cheesecake had no strawberries, my salad was missing croutons and Parmesan, my steak was not medium well. The steak temperature varied. Some portions were medium rare and some medium. Steak was a bit salty. I didn’t get my bread that was supposed to come with the meal. The order was to be ready at 9:20 but didn’t get it until 10p. When I went in to check, the steak was sitting off to the side, waiting on the salad and cheesecake to come out. Overall, the experience was not the best.

This has to be one of the most popular restaurants in Columbia/Irmo area. We’ve been there on a few weeknights as well as tonight for a special occasion and received great service. They manage wait times well, have great quality steaks and a good selection of side items. This location definitely sets the pace for others and was a pleasant surprise after I took a 10+ year break from eating here. Try the Dallas filet & house margaritas next time you go!
