Very nice atmosphere and the staff was very pleasant. However, if you are ordering anything outside the usual coffee house latte genre it’s a roll of the dice.I typically get a VERY dry cappuccino but no one ever makes it dry enough. Both times I went there I explained that I only wanted a SPLASH of cream and the rest foam. Both times I ended up with a latter. Not even close.Here’s the WORST PART. Last time we went there I was sitting with my wife and 1 other couple was there. At 4:58 the owner came up to both our tables and said he was closing.I’ve literally never had anyone kick me out of a cafe if I still had coffee or food left even at closing time. Usually they let you finish.That was enough for me. Won’t go back. Shame too. Very nice looking place
Overall it’s a nice coffee shop. You have to pay for parking and download a different app if you don’t live downtown. I must say first time ever paying for a pup cup at a coffee shop though. Their pastries look super great.
What a great spot downtown! We had an hour window before an appointment and ordered drinks and dessert. I'm a tiramisu fanatic, their version didn't disappoint. Ambience is so relaxed, exactly what a coffee and tea cafe should be like. ? We'll be back!!
Absolutely loves this coffee shop. I was in town for a few days and searched for a coffee shop near my hotel. This one came up and was within walking distance. Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. I came each day I was in town. Will definitely return in my next trip. I’ll try the tea the next time.
Great coffee and amazing food, the biscuits are perfect! It's a nice quiet Cafe where you could study, read, or relax for a bit. Great customer service aswell, if I lived here I would be a frequent customer.
The Imperial Black Iced Tea is the best iced tea in Columbia. So good! Sweetwaters is a great place to hang out or study -- clean, well decorated, tons of natural light. Greg (the owner) is a great guy and does a lot to support the UofSC School of Music (which is just a block away) and the university. Parking can be a little tricky there, but if all else fails with street parking there is a parking garage cross the street. There are some short-term parking spots up front but sometimes people camp out in those longer than they should.
Very nice place. Lots of room, very clean and modern but with personality. Fast service and tasty drinks. We will definitely be back.
Really good coffee. I got the lavender oat milk iced latte. The coffee was very good and not too sweet. Greg the owner was very kind and shared more about the founding of the company which I found very interesting. Can’t wait to go back!

The pastry, coffee and even the pre-made breakfast sandwiches are great! Staff and Mgmt are very accommodating to both the business clients and the prolific USC students that live in/near there. Love the place, recommend it to all that I work with!
