On a road trip and googled best burger only to find this place just 1 exit north of I-20. They marinate their meat over night and only cook it once the order is placed. We loved our burgers! Very fresh, tender and tasty. Crinkle fries were hot. Also liked the condiment center where you can add whatever you want: fresh sliced tomatoes, beautiful crisp iceberg lettuce, sliced onions and tasty pickles. Everything was very clean including restrooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. It’s worth a stop if you’re in the area.
Steve's is noted for their great burgers but my wife and I love the Philly steak sandwiches. Very clean place, large selection of food. Snow's Ice Cream is on connected side of Steve's. We go there for banana splits after eating our sandwiches. great people, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
Great Burger, Friendly Christian Environment. Loved that the tables have KJV Bible on them!!
amazing burgers and a great place to gather for fellowship!
First time visiting, and I must say... I enjoyed the experience. Greeted by a smiling friendly young lady working the register. I had the daily lunch special burger with fries/drink and enjoyed it. The freshness and taste of the burger stood out. Liked the bar where you could add toppings to your desire. Daughter had the 4 piece chicken tenders. Very good size and it was real chicken- tasty. Clean, family, local owned restaurant, Loved the Bibles at each table- a great witness to society. Plenty of parking with easy access from the interstate. I will be back
I would give them 5 but the prices are a bit extra. You’d get more quantity and quality by heading to a Five Guys and paying similar prices tbh. My boyfriend and I both got burgers which were good and cooked well. I do really like the toppings bar aspect. Even when we went half an hour prior to closing, they were all extremely fresh! They could use a lot more sauce options though like BBQ, honey mustard, ranch, etc. They have a good selection of sides (I got tots and my bf got sweet corn nuggets) but I wish they gave bigger servings or lowered their prices. They also don’t have very many drink options, however, there is a coffee/ice cream bar to the side called Snow’s that has a lot of coffee to choose from (didn’t try on the first visit) and a decent amount of ice cream as well. I got a small white chocolate raspberry shake which could’ve used more raspberry but was still really good. I want to go back and try the s’mores though. Overall the food was good but nothing too extraordinary which makes their prices seem outrageous. Our service was very friendly and speedy though, spending less than 15 minutes there. I appreciated the fact that no one tried preaching to us and it was only the decor that was overtly Christian, but this was also only one visit. I hope my business will continue to be respected with boundaries if we decide to go back. I think they missed an opportunity in naming it “Steve’s Christian Burgers” though, which is much more accurate.
Every single time we go to Steve's, absolutely delicious! The best flavored, seasoned burger in Columbia. Have been going for years. Quick service. I'm serious, if you want a good burger, go to Steve's.
Got a bacon cheese burger. Onion rings were delicious almost melt in your mouth. And a large chocolate milk shake with oat milk...
Was wanting a hotdog and found this place but got in there and they was wanting near 5 bucks for 1 hot dog! So I got a Philly cheese steak sandwich! It was horrible the worsted sandwich I had ever had... Had better at soup kitchen and a dinner for 2 was 20$$$.. not worth it at all.. should have stop at the soup kitchen would have gotten better food for free.. it was triable!
After having take-away sevral time, I finally had the time to have lunch on-site. The food is even better when eaten without delay. Eating on-site from now on.
