I am very unhappy with the customer service and argumentative attitude from the day manager. I ordered $36 worth of food for dine in. While picking up my food after my name was called, I found I had only received 2 of the 3 orders. When I asked when the remainder of the food would be ready, I was told it would be right out. Was also asked if I wanted a free order of French fries. I told her I just wanted my food. After 10 more minutes of waiting, I had to go up and ask what was holding my order up. The day manager firmly placed the blame on the system. She stated she had no "proof" the order went through the system to the kitchen. Overall, it took 35 minutes to get the food, at which point and then there was no time to eat lunch together. I have the receipt and feel someone needs to be retrained on customer service.
Alexis was my cashier on 4/27/2022 at the Devine Street in Columbia, SC location. She was very knowledgeable about the menu information and assisted me when I didn’t know what exactly kind of burger I wanted. All I had to do was tell her what I wanted on it. And she handled the rest. The Oreo shake she made me, was made with love. The food was presented very well when I dined- in. Anything I may have wanted was provided. This encounter was one of my best one’s compared to my previous visits. Jarred assisted as well, and he and Alexis work well as coworkers and also a team. I was also told about the loyalty program and it’s benefits.
So this place can be a 3-star at times or knock it out of the park. Today they gave five star ⭐️ service and Alexis was a rockstar. she was very polite and did great at taking my family of fives order. The crew in the back was great and the girl working on putting orders together was awesome. Again sometimes this place lags with certain people in place but tonight it was great.
Very friendly staff and very fast service. I loved my burger (as evidenced by the picture... Where I finished half of it before getting a picture). My mom also enjoyed hers. I also got a milkshake and it was great. Could have been a little thicker, but still tasted amazing!
I always experience amazing customer service at this location of Smashburger, from both employees and management. I love their yummy smashfries too! I would also like to recognize one of the managers, Aaron. You can definitely tell he prides himself on customer service and accommodating customer needs. Wonderful experience!
Decent burgers with good flavor. My husband got a burger and I got the chicken club. Glad they had gluten free buns! The tots were pretty good. A bit pricey for what you get, but good if you’re craving a burger.

Fail. 40+ minutes to get two burgers. Poor customer service/attitudes. Can get a burger anywhere so it'll be anywhere but here from now on. Finally got order: fries soaked in oil (which seeped out of carton all over my jeans), paid for bacon and didn't get any, classic bun and didn't get it, one burger was cold, and sauces weren't right. Couldn't get a more incorrect order!
My husband has been coming here for lunch break and when he comes home all he talks about is how good the burgers are. He also mentions his new friend “Calvin”. Great worker and has a personality of gold!! Very kind and caring. My husband is a usual customer now and Calvin remembers his order lol.Great guy Calvin!!!!! Your dear friend Sadi’s wife lol.
Burger was delicious with sweet potato fries. The cashier was super nice too.
