It was on Eid day and unfortunately it was on Monday this time. I and my sister were hungry, and we were looking for a Desi food place. Fortunately, we found it pretty quick in Columbia, SC downtown. The Pakistani lady was very nice and an excellent cook ? loved the food. Food is very reasonably priced. Highly recommended. The only problem is that the restaurant needs a deep clean and the toilet smelled bad. But we ignored all that cause we were hungry and the couple running the place is old ?

We had a wonderful meal at Shalimar Curry House today. This small restaurant tucked in the USC campus is just the thing for a great meal. The samosas are to die for. I asked for only mild spice while my dining companion wanted much more heat in his food. The owner delivered just the right spice for both of us. And the hospitality was the best part of our dining experience. We will definitely be back!

Oh my gosh… most delicious lunch of my life. I was told to get the chicken tikka and I trusted that recommendation. Thank goodness I did because it’s WONDERFUL! Owners are so nice, place smells so good, prices are very fair, 10/10

Good food and caring workers. The sauces go great on the rice. They also offer nice vegetarian options with paneer.

Every time I’ve come it’s been an excellent experience. Good food, great price and very good service. Definitely recommend ??

Very good food. Authentic. Was very pleased with it. It’s definitely a hole in the wall but a place I would recommend trying if you like all sorts of foods.

They need to update their business hours because it said they were open on Sunday. So, I drove all the way here. Only for there to be a locked door and no hours listed on the business.

Good was great, cooked to order. The place was suuuuuper quiet being that there was no music or background noise at all. The restaurant itself was pretty messy even tho there was no one at all in it. Again tho the food selection being limited did not take away from the awesome flavor.

do not come here. DO NOT. unlike the other reviews, i walked in, and the lady did not give me time to even look at the menu. in fact, the menu is condensed and has v few menu items. the whole restaurant felt greasy. i ordered the chicken biryani. the rice was mushy and clumpy. the naan was not fresh. there are many other better, fresher restaurants to get indian food. the dish was 9 dollars and a waste of money.

I’d love to try their food but they won’t answer the phone?
