I was born and raised in NYC. Being in the military, I am constantly moving around the country. Wherever I am, I always look for a pizza place that has that real authentic NYC taste because my family and I like to have pizza night once a week. We will normally try every pizza place in the area looking for one that is just right. When I walked in to Schiano's, the look was just right and when I got home and tasted it, it was confirmed. I hear people, who have never been to NYC, talk about how much they love NY-style pizza. As a former NewYorker, I can say that this pizza is as NYC as any pizza being made right now in Brooklyn or Mercer and Waverly in downtown Manhattan. Thank you sweet sweet baby Jesus.
Great food great service,we were actually waited on by the delivery driver who did great. The owner let all the servers have the day shift off to enjoy mothers day .Which is great.sorry no pics because we tore it up.We had spaghetti meat sauceEggplant parm. And my favorite...cheese pizza.
Two scenarios: First scenario, we were eating at the restaurant for dinner. 20 minutes to get a waitress to take our order and over an hour to get our food. The manager apologized and we understood, things happen. Second: I ordered delivery.. Why offer delivery for lunch if it is going to take 2+ hours to deliver and you live one mile away? Turn the delivery service off. Something needs to be streamlined. Food is too good to have bad service and slow delivery.
Best pizza ever, we love this place so much! Of the two pictured we like the regular plain cheese and red sauce pizza best and our children love it too. These are size Medium pictured and quite good sized. I also lived in NYC for a few years and it is even better than the pizza there! We have not tried anything else on the menu but have heard the greek salad is very good. ❤️????
I am born and raised in New York. I would have to say, they have some of the best pizza! I would also recommend their Greek salad. It’s nothing special but it’s sooo good. Yes, delivery may take a long time on the weekend but it’s worth the wait.
Sadly, I should have read the reviews before ordering. We, like many others in recent months, had a bad experience when ordering delivery. We ordered around 8:45 pm. The website showed they closed at 10, so we figured this was plenty of time. At 10:00, we still didn't have our delivery, so we called the restaurant and were assured that the delivery driver would have it to us shortly. At 10:50, still no food. We called again, and the person said the driver was "on his way". At this point, she should have offered us something for our trouble - even if it was just a few free drinks. We ended up getting our order at 11:15pm....2.5 hours after we ordered - and our food was completely cold to boot. We had to reheat everything! I will say that even reheated, the food was good.....but totally not worth the almost $40 we paid for an individual/small pizza and 10 wings. I would try the food in person at the restaurant (the pizza is tasty), but definitely do yourself a favor and dine-in or pick it up yourself. Not many want to eat dinner at the same time they should be going to bed....especially at that price :( I think we can all understand staffing shortages these days; however, I would be more understanding if a restaurant were to call me and say "we know the system says your order will be there in an hour; but, right now, it's more like 2.5 hours. Would you still like your order delivered?". At least then, I have the expectation of the delay and the choice of how I'd like to proceed. This, in my opinion, would have been the best way of handling this incident and would have let me know they value me (and my time) as a customer.
My husband ordered a pizza tonight at 6:45pm it’s now 9:20. We called multiple times never received the delivery. These lady who answered the phone had the nerve to get an attitude with us. The manager then takes the drivers word over ours as if we received the pizza why would we call multiple times if we got a pizza. This experience has been terrible the driver literally just dropped the pizza off at a random persons house without checking if it was the right apartment or person so someone got a free pizza; they tried to accommodate us but it’s literally been over two hours. The consistency with them has been terrible. Won’t eat here again.
I ordered from this restaurant at 6:10 and did not receive my meal until 8:38. I called restaurant 5 times & kept getting the run around. I completely understand business being short & taking longer. However be honest with your customer I promise the truth goes much further than an excuse.

Placed an order for deliveryand two hours later I am still waiting for my food! Paid $3.00 delivery fee and also included a "service" tip of $4.00. When I reached out to the restaurant after an hour and a half, I was simply told "she's on her way"...no apology or expression of concern whatsoever. I have ordered from this restaurant several times and the food has always been good. This however will be the last time because of the unfortunate service experience.
