This place is delicious in my opinion. I ate inside for the first time in three years and only the second indoor dining in this time period both in the last month. We have ALWAYS enjoyed the food here and the portions are just as good and prices are basically the same in these times of rising prices which some of it is just gouging and politicians. San Jose remains one of our favorite places along with being close and convenient. Parking can be tough but that just tells you other people also think it's excellent food and excellent value which is a great combination for customer satisfaction which is the NUMBER ONE priority of importance ALWAYS. KUDOS TO SAN JOSE!!
I went this week Tuesday the food was mediocre. I ordered a chicken quesadilla… it didn’t have any cheese in it. I ordered food to go taco and enchiladas special the beef in the enchilada looked and tasted like it was sitting out or made hours ago. The person I ordered it for literally threw it away. After this experience I remembered why I haven’t been then in 8 years. It very disappointing. Yuck
Been here several years and always ordered the same thing. Server, Marisella is just not the most unprofessional person during my last two encounters at San Jose. I've frequent this particular establishment for years and most recently, I had the worst service with her specifically. I understand having bad days at times, not two times in a row on two separate occasions with the same server. No one should have to endure having a rude server that is unwilling to ask for modifications for the guests that are paying.
I ordered grilled chicken quesadilla and was gave the wrong order and was told I’m the one that ordered just a chicken quesadilla when I know that’s not true because I only eat the grilled chicken quesadilla and then the guy had a nerve to have a nasty attitude I would not recommend this San Jose drive the extra 5 minutes to the one on Sparkleberry Lane they are so much better and carrying.
One of our favorite places to dine in. We have been going to this restaurant since it opened. Great food, drinks and staff. It is clean and comfortable inside.

Food was delicious, the server could of use a little more help in the hospitality, not terrible but not the best which resulted in his tip. It was slightly chilly in there considering it was a cold night. The drinks were great too.
First time at this san Jose's,The man who help me with me order was very pleasant. I wasn't sure what was the of dish I normally get but he worked with me and I got exactly what I wanted. FOOD WAS GREAT!
I have been disappointed in this restaurant before and they never make it right but today was the worst by far. They usually never get the orders exactly correct and have gotten worse with quality and a reasonable amount of food for the price. Today my order had runny sour cream, no guacamole but lots of lettuce to replace it like I wouldn't notice I suppose. Requested 2 chicken and chees quesidillas but received 2 soft tacos with only chicken no cheese. There was not rice or beans with those meals and with the fahita meal for my husband it looked smaller than a child sized portion meal and this was for dinner. Apparently, they are trying to save money but this was unnacceptable!! I am sure they could do a better job but I am sure I can find a better mexican restaurant nextime. Good Luck Tony!
Fast service and good Mexican food. I used to love On The Border's chile relleno but have found no other place that makes it quite the same. However, San Jose has a chile poblano that has been deep fried (not crunchy though) but has a wonderful flavors. And you can't go wrong with the horchata (cinnamon rice milk drink) to help cool any heat in the food (but not in my dish) and also acts as a dessert.
