They closed at 10pm we got there at 9:22am. Waiter wasn’t hesitant about serving us said kitchen was shutting down in 30 minus. Made us rush to order stood there didn’t give us time to look at the menu impatient I do mean Brought our food out sloppy the Shrimp smelled fishy waiter was impatient brought me the check and stood there over me until I gave him my card. My first time there was really looking forward to eating Mexican food had bad experience Won’t return ???
The staff here is very friendly. We always have very good service when we come here. The food is also great. This is by far my favorite San Jose's in Columbia.
Best Margaritas in town. Customer service was magnificent and the food was fresh, hot and delicious. I had the fajitas
2022-01: Joined some friends here for lunch after years of being a customer at this location. It was the tail end of the weekday lunch rush and it wasn't too busy. We were greeted and sat immediately. Our server was attentive and pleasant. She did a great job answering some questions we had.The restaurant itself was clean, and the two story water feature in the entryway was a great aesthetic!
I have been driving up to Columbia to shop for the past year. Always passing this restaurant. My friend girl was treating me to lunch. So I chose this restaurant. I had the taco salad bowl with chicken. I tasted it and right away new something was wrong. Giving them the benefit of doubt, I tasted it again. At the bottom of the bowl it was cold and the chicken was raw, so now I'm gagging. I called the hostess over and told her the problem. The waiter came over, I order something new. The chicken enchilada supreme. It wasn't good either but it was cooked maybe too much. I told my friend "the next shopping trip we are going to pass this one by." I suggest you do the same.???
Y'all. We visited here on 11/03/21 & the food was terrible. The guac isn't fresh. Tasted and smelled like garbage. Food was disgusting. Waiter was rude (granted it's a pandemic and they're understaffed and it was busy, so I give him the benefit of the doubt).None of us ate even half of the food & when he asked if we wanted a box we declined b/c it was literally that bad. ?
Good friendly service. Food was pretty good. It's not the best but good for some Mexican American food.
Food came out quickly and as ordered. Prices are good. Place was clean and staff was friendly.
The place is very quaint but spacious enough. Service is excellent, fast and accurate. Portions were delicious and enough to share. Fajitas shown were excellent. I ate all the shrimp because they get tough when reheated (like all shrimp). Chicken enchiladas were excellent. Didn't last long enough for a photo. Tacos de Asada were fantastic. Churros were so good my boss took the extras home.
This place might be better than I'm scoring it, however my experience was not that great. It took 15 mins for me to get a drink and I was sitting at the bar with one other person. I needed someone and was told," this isn't my section" instead of one sec let me get someone to help you. Waited 45 + mins for food and it was ok at best. Maybe they where having an off day ?mm..?
