I went to Rush's yesterday, have not been in over two years. With this experience probably won't ever go back. I order the supper combo for me and the kids. 8 pieces of chicken, coleslaw, fries, rolls and half of gallon of tea. Got my order opened my box of chicken and the chicken was not fresh at all, was not hot looks like it's been sitting for awhile. Took the chicken back got a new batch of chicken, chicken was hot but it still looked old. Taste the chicken and it tasted like old gease. They need to do a boil out of there gease. The chicken was nasty. At this some one needs to give me my money back I spent 33.01 for food we did not eat.
Just ordered a slaw dog add ketchup and an apple turnover. The slaw fog was soggy and very sloppy. The entire paper was smeared with the chili and ketchup. Plus there was no mustard or onions on it. As for the apple turnover, it’s exceptionally greasy like chicken. There is a good bit of grease in the bottom of the wrapper. Just to touch the apple turnover is like you just stuck your fingers in a jar of grease. So so so very disappointed. I’m down I20 do the traffic is horrible both ways
IT IS A SHAME HOW FAST FOOD RESTURANT'S DON'T CARE WHAT THEY GIVE TO THE PUBLIC . THE PATTY FOR THE BURGERS MUST HAVE BEEN PRECOOKED AND THE CHEESE COULDN'T MELT ON THE BURGER . THE PINEAPPLE SUNDAE DIDN'T HAVE THE WALNUTS ON IT AND THAT'S WHAT I WAITED. WHEN YOUR FOOD IS PREPARED LIKE THEY DON'T CARE I DON'T EAT IT LUCKY I LIVE ON NORTHEAST SIDE OF TOWN AND I PURCHASE IT ON BROADRIVER.I'M 55 YEARS OLD AND SEE THIS A LOT IN THE FAST FOOD RESTURANTS AND PLEASE DON'T GO MCDONALD'S CLEMSON RD AND HARDSCABLIE RD THE MANAGERS IS WHY KIDS ARE HIGH ON JOB AT THE DRIVE THROUGH AND WHEN PULL UP TO GET YOUR FOOD THE KIDS ARE DANCEING LIKE THEY ARE AT HOUSE PARTY .
Horrible experience. Ordered food for my team. They did not provide all the food ordered. I had to drive back up and get the food that was not originally provide. Good customer service would have offered a fresh new order. After all who wants old food. I wasted gas and I was time and I wasted money at this establishment. All for cold soggy fries and a lukewarm burger. $70 on food. My money will never be spent here again!
I like Rush's even more bc if you don't eat meat, you can ask for a veggie burger which will come with everything except the meat...so I just keep a veggie patty of my own ready..taste great!
I patronized this Rush's location this evening after 7 pm. It had a long line at the drive thru. Once I drove up to order menu, I asked the order taker to make sure I get hot fries. His response was, "I will see what we can do." When I arrive home which is ten minutes from the restaurant, I discovered that both orders were lukewarm and I had to warm up the burgers and fries before eating them. When I pay $21 and some change for two burger meals, I expect for the food to be served fresh and hot, not lukewarm. I will never patronize this Rush's location again.
We enjoyed our meals. The food was delicious. No dine in. We ended up eating our food in the car. That is ok. We enjoyed the beautiful fall weather while eating our meals.
We like to stop at Rush's when passing through Columbia, SC. It's like no other, a seeming step back in time for me but not a copy since they've been serving great tastes for decades. We had "Slaw Dogs" and shared the fries; all was great as always. It truly beats all other choices for us when traveling and if we lived closer, I'd sample their other offerings that I've heard are great as well... if I could get past the Slaw Dog being so good!
Good, fast service. The French fries are the best. But the chicken sandwich was dry and dull. Has no taste all. Not juicy like the bone in chicken. I had to add salt and pickle to spice it up. Also, the coleslaw as greatly improved.
Its OK for A quick bite. Def not A fave of mine. Their Coleslaw is bland and there chili is as well. To me at least. Also didn't Care for their milkshakes.
