My daughter and I visited this location for a late Mother's day treat. However it was a big mistake. We were seated a few minutes after arriving the server came over got our drink order that was the best part of the experience. It went down hill from there. After getting our drinks she took our order . My daughter and I sat there talking waiting on our dinner. It was slow at this time . After about 15 minutes I still didn't even get my salad . We continued waiting finally saw our server again and asked if I could get my Salad. Well 5 minutes later our food came out cold so my daughter sent her food back it was cold and wrong. So another 20 minutes go by my daughter still doesn't get her food back. The server comes by and says the kitchen is backed up and I dk when your food will be out. My daughter says just forget it and take it off the bill. The server never even offered to refill our drinks everything we got was cold including the bread. This was by far the worst experience ever and for the amount of money I spent was just ridiculous to have those issues. Very disappointed
First I went to the Red Lobster in Cayce and didn't seem clean and it smells. I left and drove to this one. It was what I a lot better. The waiter was great. I wish I would've remembered his name. The meal was good expect the scallops was offer cooked. Other than that it was a good meal. I'm sure my waiter would have corrected the problem but I didn't address it. The scallops is the reason for the 4 star instead of 5.
Terrible customer service. Upon arriving, we knew there would be a wait. We were fine with that. We were told that the manager was not allowing customer's to be seated temporarily because the kitchen was backed up. When seating resumed the hostess seated two larger parties that arrived after us. We continue to wait..... After over an hour, we ask what the issue is because there are plenty of open tables. We were informed that seating had been halted again by the manager and that we would be next. They continued to seat people that came in after us. After about 20 more minutes of us waiting, watching people be seated. We asked the host again what the deal was and she gave the same response as the previous time and was somewhat defensive about it. We told them to forget it after over an hour waiting, watching everyone else be seated but us. Pathetic! Would be a nice place to actually open a Red Lobster. Never again will we visit this location.
If I could give this location zero stars I would. We knew they would be busy on Mother's Day and we were prepared to wait. We sat and waited even though they had plenty of empty tables. We were told that the manager would not allow the hostess to seat anyone due to the kitchen being backed up. Once seating resumed two parties, that arrived after we did, were seated before us. We asked the hostess why, she tried to say that they were before us. They were not. We watched them arrive and come in, check in and go back out after we had already checked in and sat in the vestibule. We sat back down. The hostess continued seating people that had arrived after us. My wife who has dementia had became anxious. I asked once more how much longer and the hostess said that they weren't seating parties(We had 6 people.) at the moment that it would be a while longer. I sat back down. They continued seating other people until we were the only ones remaining except for one couple that had just arrived. I spoke with the hostess again, she states they didn't take anyone before us even though it was obvious and she said there's nothing I can do about it. I told her to take our name off and we left. I will be calling corporate.
This was the BEST dine in experience I've ever had. Our waitress was nothing short of exceptional.
Red Lobster has always been a winner for me! Its the rolls!!! But down to business, prices have gone up a good bit along with prices everywhere else! That was to be expected though. The food was very good as usual, it being a very rare and odd occasion that I'm not satisfied. However, the service, unlike some of my previous visits, was outstanding!!! My server said they had only been doing the job for 6 months! Bravo Red Lobster! Keep up the good work, and bring some of those prices down a little!!! ?
My husband and I had dinner here on March 05, 2022. I swear this is one of the worst Red Lobster I ever ate at. It took forever for us to get our food and when it did arrive it was cold, and it didn’t look fresh at all! We sent everything back because we wanted fresh hot food. The waitress or the kitchen staff warm the food up in the microwave and thought that was appropriate. At the point I found the manager and sent the food back by her. I’ve tried to give this location chance after chances, but I’m completely done. I’ll rather drive to the Sumter location, the food is always good there.
Waitresses are wonderful , there is a wait for the food , but definitely worth it ! Overall very good !
This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had at Red Lobster! First- they did not honor our reservations made through Open Table! In fact, they literally forgot to even put my name down while I was in front of them! I had to wait almost 40 minutes just to be seated, but they sat people who came in after us. Second- they brought out the wrong food to our table, twice! Third- they gave us plastic ware to eat with, we were literally trying to eat our dinner with the same plastic utensil’s McDonald’s uses! And she said she would bring us silverware in a moment, but she never did. Fourth- most of the time we had no drinks refilled, our waitress was MIA. Which the restaurant wasn’t even busy, so I don’t know what she was doing. Fifth- my meal finally shows up, over 45 minutes later, and my fish was COLD! I couldn’t believe it!!! 45 minutes I had waited, and she brings me disgusting COLD fish! It was like they didn’t finish thawing it, before trying to cook it! I will NOT go back there again! This place was a mess, all the way around. And we weren’t the only customers unhappy. Every table I seen people were complaining and leaving. Don’t waste your time, or money at this restaurant.
