Delicious. Cute biscuit bar/cafe in Cottontown. Showed up just before closing and they were really accommodating by letting us order and hang out to eat inside. The biscuit, sausage, and spicy pimento cheese was straight bomb. Will def be back for that. Wasn’t sure what I was expecting when I ordered the bacon Mac n biscuit but was really good, just a little messy. Still great though. Hope to be back soon
A very neat little spot on North Main Street that's doing something unique and doing it very well. They make amazing biscuits and use quality ingredients in a great modern restaurant setting that feels like a little hideaway in Columbia.Came here and ordered the fig and brie biscuit for $6 and loved it. The fig jam tasted great and wasn't too sweet, the brie was great, and the biscuit itself was expectedly awesome. The people here are friendly, fast, and were kind enough to get the wifi password for me as well. That was nice. In general, a great spot (except it was a little cold in the restaurant). They also have nice outdoor seating.
Pros: Polite staff, good service, clean/welcoming environment.Cons: Underwhelming food.—Disappointed with this place. Two of us got the pork belly biscuit. It came out undercooked and therefore very chewy. The fat wasn’t cooked down at all. I persevered with it but we decided to send it back. They were kind enough to replace with the fried chicken which was $2 more than the original pork belly and they didn’t charge us the difference. They also apologized profusely.Unfortunately, the replacement fried chicken was poor. Very salty and dry due to overcooking. We both decided to just leave. One to avoid.
This is such a cute little place! I was passing through Columbia and wanted a decent breakfast and I'm so glad I found it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was amazing!! That was absolutely the best breakfast sandwich I've had, maybe ever. If I'm ever back in the area I think I could be a regular here.
First time going with my family, I had the fried chicken biscuit w Mac and cheese. My chicken was very salty, the biscuit was dry and my Mac n cheese w very greasy. The service was great and the orange was very tasty. My brother had the brisket biscuit and the brisket was very dry and hard, as if it was jerky. Also had the pork belly was very fatty and salty the has browns was okay not very well cooked. Nice location and nice atmosphere.
Great biscuits! They have a good variety of biscuit options, mostly savory. I still need to try the fig and brie one, but have eaten the herb goat cheese & egg one and just tried the fried green tomato one and they're both delicious. Not a fan of the cheesy hashbrown bake, which has great flavor but is cheesier than they said it would be (tho, yes, its in the name, LOL).
Delicious little treats. Very tasty biscuits thoughtfully crated into gourmet sandwiches. Two meals for lunch under 30 bucks, can't beat it. I had the chicken pot pie special and my husband had pork belly. We also shared a pimento cheese purple grits bowl and drinks.
Finally got to try this place out and it was amazing, this place has raised the bar for brunch places. The biscuits were nice and big and very flavorful. I got the fried chicken biscuit and added bacon and cheddar cheese, with gravy on the side, the gravy had collards, black-eyed peas, and chicken chunks and it was amazing, I also got mac & cheese, with a cranberry mimosa and pink lemonade. The food and the customer service was a 10/10, the people who worked there were very friendly and efficient, our food came out very fast, and my other 2 friends also loved it. We will definitely be coming back more often!
Visiting from out of town and stopped in for breakfast. Delicious is an understatement!!!! Online ordering and pick up were super easy as well. Had to go back the next day because we enjoyed it so much!!! Would give it 10 stars if I could! I don’t understand the bad reviews probably just from people without taste and have nothing better to do than to bash a place that’s doing amazing things. Keep up the tremendous work!
A Soda City Market staple with a brick and mortar location, now. This review is long overdue, but Rambo's is THE place to get a biscuit. The pork belly with their homemade pepper jam is immaculate. The fried green tomato one is incredible. I could literally go item by item down their menu, but it's easier to just say, you can't go wrong.Inside the restaurant is cute. I love it in there and it's very inviting with lots of natural light. Parking is pretty easy, but I live nearby, so I don't really deal with it.All in all, Rambo's has to be on your list of Columbia eats if you're visiting.
