They discriminated on a person that bought something in the past and then like the next week later they want them out of store I don't understand that that was 933 gervais Street Vista downtown Columbia SC they forgot I was a part of the community too I'll pray for their souls let God go ahead and turn their souls in the right direction
First they only had 2 soups and one of them wasn’t even on the menu. We ended up with onion soup which was good. The sandwich was on an ice cold roll but at least the chicken was warm. It only had a couple leaves of lettuce. They only had large cups for drinks so not that big of a deal but they hardly had any sodas as half of them were out. There was 2 drink machines and one of them was taken apart. All this for $43, 2 sandwiches and 2 cups of soup. Just horrible! Then we wanted butter for our bread, they didn’t have any?!?!?!
The Thai chicken had no chicken. The Mac n cheese they had no Mac. The chicken Thai soup had no chicken. They were out of bread. Didn’t offer any of the other breads clearly available .The flat bread pizza they were out of flat bread. What a waste of my $50+ dollars.
Yeah, Panera's fallen on hard times. The one near us closed, and this one's been inconsistent. This time, out of several items. The chicken noodle soup had -- literally -- three noodles. The chicken salad sandwich was skimpy; they used to load it up. Question is: who will step up to replace them?
We went here because he ice cream store was closed. We ordered three meals and waited, and waited and waited. We were given no instructions on anything and we waited. I even went over to the area to ask, "Is our food ready?" They said, "We'll call you." Well, they didn't. My daughter went over there to find out if the food was ready and she said, "We're not even on the list." I went over there and they said, "We called you." No, they didn't and if they did, it was so quiet, no one could hear. If I had known I had to wait at the pickup area, I would have but didn't know. The sandwich had nothing on it but meat but they do have condiments. I paid over $30.00 for a 3 sandwiches and a salad and they were all small. I do not intend to go back.
Tried to order soup and a baguette, but they were out of baguettes. When asked if they had any other bread, they said no. So a restaurant that is literally named after bread doesn’t have “any other bread.” These folks will charge you nearly 10 bucks for a bowl of soup, chips, and disappointment.
Panera Gervais St. Columbia, SCI was so appalled by the way 2 of the employees treated a elderly man at the store the other day at lunch. At the Gervais St. store in Columbia SC. The 2 were rude and disrespectful and it literally brings tears to my eyes when I think about how they treated him. The service was slow, the employees are slow and a bit arrogant, that I can deal with b/c I just won't ever go back. Panera Corporate values states they "believe in treating people with warmth, value and respect" and I witnessed none of that. I reached out to corporate about how rude these kids were to that elderly man but if course they didn't respond b/c I'm guessing they don't care. I've never been more bothered by poor behavior in a restaurant than I was on that Saturday. im angry at the employees and Panera for doing that and sad for that elderly man who was just trying to pick up some food and then left with out it. I wish I had chased him down and given him our food. I wasn't going to post here but since Panera didn't respond I want others to know that this is not a warm and friendly place and the ppl there are not very nice.
Again the Gervais st Columbia South Carolina location says there is a national coin shortage. They have no change to give back. This is STEALING.. There is not a national coin shortage. You lazy employees need to go to the bank. There is plenty of change. It doesn’t magically appear. Theft daily. Not giving change back adds up to thieves quick
I just ordered delivery and my side wasn't delivered/included (chips) there were also no croutons with the french onion soup, this has happened more than once with the croutons. Also no utensils. CHECK THE ORDERS PLEASE.
Definitely not the same Panera bread. Very expensive and the employees have a really bad attitude.
