Food was fairly good…it wasn’t the BEST and certainly wasn’t bad neither …BUT the customer service was so horrible. I don’t understand why black owned businesses can never get it together with the attitudes…we were never greeted…the girl looked like she hated her job…they had no hot sauce…only gotten ONE fork in the bag when obviously my husband and I were purchasing the meals. The food was cool but that girl needs to fix her attitude because that ain’t IT ..smh Need new workers.
Went to Mama Bees Soul Food for lunch today and I’m going to say those ladies get a 10/10. I ordered the Turkey Wing plate with collards and Lima bean and okra stew. All orders come with rice and cornbread my plate was 15$. When I say everything was perfect!?!? The Turkey wings were juicy and falling off the bone, rice and gravy was good and corn bread is amazing. I have never heard of limabean stew but it’s on my radar now. All the food was hot and fresh, great service and wonderful staff. I will be visiting your other location and come back soon . Good Job!
Ummmmmmm… I debated about giving a review for a few weeks now because I want to always uplift and support; however, sometimes we have to help with our honesty. The appearance will come with time and I’d rather the effort be put into other things versus the way it looks (as long as it is clean inside). I am struggling with the customer service and professionalism more so the quality of their food. Again, I want to always support our establishments but Hello, Please, Thank you and come again aren’t requirements but they go unnoticed and a long way. The customer service deserves a 1 star. The quality of the food is average but after going home and adding my own spices, I’m able to appreciate it more but their professionalism I can’t fix!
Got to this place today 6-25-22. We had to ring to bell twice. The server saw the size of my group(7ppl) and her facial expression said enough. There were no menus she told to take a picture of the menu at the front of the restaurant. We then waited for her to return and she didn't. I love supporting businesses but this is not one I would recommend to anyone.
So my first time trying this restaurant was yesterday when I pulled up it looked like an old abandoned building no cars in the parking lot just very creepy then the drive-through window is not working so I pulled up further in a young girl came out the door with my food. Something told me to check my plate before I pulled off I ordered oxtails when I got back to my hotel I was mortified because it was literally bones and rice hardly any meat and all fat had not been trimmed off. I am half Jamaican so that was a big no for me will not be returning sorry but do better
If you crave home cooking like mamma. Mrs B's may be the place to try from turkey necks to Collard greens. Mrs B Colorful and multi option menu is sure to have something for that soul food craving. I highly recommend
Food that takes me back to the way my Great Grandma cooked. And it was GREAT. so soulful and well seasoned. God knows I don't have the time talent or patience to make OXTAILS Liver, pig feet, greens or blackeyed peas. but I truly enjoy being able to have them again.
I had the pot roast dinner with cabbage and Mac n cheese for the side and it was better than any feedback I can think of leaving. Let that marinate in, then go see what I'm talking about.
To day was my first time here today I looked it up online as the reviews made it seem good and it wasn't horrible. The place was a little hard to find and the sign were on a dry erase board for you to see. The food wasn't bad... HOWEVER it was the greatest either, for starters the Mac and cheese seemed to have a grainy texture and the rice and gravy had a weird like creamy texture, the pork chops were ok kind of hard and the yams lack the seasoning I preferred but the lady at the door at the time was pretty nice and the inside was clean so that's a bonus. I doubt I'll be back to try it again as I found out multiple people in my family has tried this place and they had bad experiences as well.
