Food here was deelicious ? fast service and nice clean atmosphere. I literally couldn’t keep my face out of the plate ☺️??.. would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming back as a regular. GREAT SOUTHERN SOUL FOOD .!!
trifling is what it is and Mrs. b herself is the worst part of it all!!! nasty old hag and charges for to go boxes and talks about customers medical conditions ON SOCIAL MEDIA this place is nasty and needs to be shut down yesterday
Was out with my son and we were both craving burgers. Found this place on Google, didn't know it existed. Walked in and was immediately greeted with a warm welcome. On Sundays, they have a soul food menu, which I will be back for, however today we wanted burgers and sadly it is a Sunday. Even though not on the menu, Ms B set us up with some of the best tasting burgers I have had in some time. Also ordered fries and onion rings which were both on point!To top off the great food, our server, Cutie is her name, was incredible. She had a fantastic personality overflowing with joy and did all she could to make us feel welcomed.After we were done eating Ms. B came out from the kitchen to check on us. She is a delightful soul. Overall an awesome experience.We will be back.
I thought they were a little overpriced but this is the age after COVID. A little inconsistent with the seasoning of the food: the turkey wing was way too salty but the rice/gravy and cabbage had no salt at all. My friends fried chicken was fresh and hot (made to order) but one felt it wasn't worth the price. (Two wings, rice/gravy, two sides for 15.99.) Our server was very nice. We laughed when she said "everything" after we asked what did she recommend on the menu. (She's expecting and admitted that she eats everything on the menu ? but she told us what the best sellers were) We did not experience any of the "bad cust service" I had heard about. I would go there again and give them another try. I want to try their oxtails ?

Have hosted and event here it's a real good place to mix and mingle. Wish they had few more signature drink but the food, let me tell ya. The soul food menu is the best part, there is love in that food?
Today I decided to go to this restaurant for some Sunday soul food as I didn’t feel like cooking myself and I also brought my mother along who had never been to this restaurant. I’ve come several times over the last couple of years. First things first, the place has an musty order throughout the place that never seems to go away. But the actual restaurant is pretty decent. So my mother and I asked for the menu and the lady points at a sign and says that’s the menu for the day. My mother asked for prices of the food and the lady tells her “ Oh I won’t know until I ring it up in the computer”. My first instinct was to leave because that’s just tacky not to have prices for food posted. So I decided to get the fish dinner and my mom decided to get the oxtail dinner. Low and behold my bill for the fish dinner came up to over $20 and my moms Oxtail dinner came up much cheaper. I was kinda stunned atthe price and the lack of knowledge from the waitress on the menu and pricing. So I sucked it up and went with it because I was hungry and didn’t feel like going anywhere else at the time and damper my moms experience there. The food is good there but the service isn’t the best. The staff there seems very aloof and a bit to nonchalant. This would’ve made my experience much better with simple pricing of the food or knowledge from the waitress on the food. When is a fish dinner more expensive than a oxtail dinner? Killed my interest for coming back and my mother definitely won’t return either because of the poor service. They also force the rice and gravy on you with the meal. Everyone isn’t interested in rice and gravy especially when it’s forced
My second time coming here, I brought My family this time and all the food was great and fresh! Ms. B is a very sweet person as well as her employees. Soul food cooking at its finest! If you haven't tried this wonderful restaurant yet what are you waiting for! ? Ms. B also has another restaurant by the same of Ms. B's Southern Soul Food! Check Her Out! Thank you Ms. B! ?? BTW the yams were out of thus world amazing!!!!
Delicous food!! Flavored perfectly and great portion sizes!!! I had the steak and shrimp dinner with loaded mashed potatoes and Broccoli.
Delicious hot home-made cooked Lima beans & okra. The cornbread was the best I’ve had in a month. Good friendly service. Happened to find this gem the night of St. Patrick’s Day. It was a especially fun place to eat. Friendly motorcycle gang made the meal lively. Will long remember the fun we two Hoosiers had in Columbia SC! Thanks, Ms. Bridget & All!
