This restaurant is amazing! The food is so fresh and there are so many options! The chicken lettuce wraps are especially delicious. We love the soy mix sauce they come with. Their ginger house salad is also really good. It's not just cut up iceberg lettuce like a lot of the other Asian fusion places. It has fresh mixed lettuce and is a nice size. I don't eat sushi but have been there with people who rave about it, and they enjoy the luncheon plates that are reasonably priced. The servings are quite large as well. The pictures I attached are lunch servings. It's usually enough for me to have for two lunches. Also, the "fried vegetable rice" is not fried. It's really light and tasty and not oily or heavy like most fried rice. It's an attractive restaurant with friendly staff. I can't say enough good things about it. It's become one of our favorites.
Some of the best sushi in the area!! My son is a huge sushi lover so we have tried several places. Miyo's by far was the best. We went about 7pm on a Sunday for his birthday. The place was not super busy. We were greeted by the owner and seated immediately. The restaurant was clean, spacious and inviting. He asked if we would like to sit outside as there is a nice outdoor area for dining. We opted to dine inside and we were seated by the sushi bar. There is a chalk board with specialty rolls. It could be more visible. We asked if the offered a sushi boat and the owner came and showed us their platter options. Nigiri was fresh and delicious. We got several of their specialty rolls and they were all amazing as well. The pot stickers and calamari for appetizers were delicious. The entrees were plentiful and satisfying. Our waitress must have been new as she seemed a little confused on what was and was not available. Overall she did well but definitely room for improvement. We closed the night with green tea and red bean moochi and a very decadent chocolate cake. If you are looking for great food, amazing sushi, good service and reasonable pricing.. this is the place to go.
Over the years Miyo's has been a staple in the area and one of my favorites. That said, we started to see service slip and the restaurant appeared dirty the last time we were there. Nevertheless, we tried it again. And wow! It's back! The food was amazing. The service was wonderful. We ate here twice in the same week because we loved it so much. With so many restaurants not surviving COVID lockdowns (including several Miyo's sister restaurants), it's good to see Miyo's thriving. Thanks for dinner - x2!

We were excited, thinking we finally found a good Chinese restaurant in Columbia SC. This place is horrible. I cannot say anything good about it. They even have Chinese cooking and the food is horrible!
We frequently visit Miyos when in the mall area and needing a sushi fix.
Attempted to go there for our anniversary. Have had the same thing many times over the past 14 years, but it wasn't made correctly. chef came out to argue with us. Terrible experience will not be back.
I don't recommend this resturant unless you want just sushi. The regular food that we ordered was bad enough for me to send back, which I hate to do! The bathrooms were dirty and the service was horrible
I was in the area so I had to stop! Just got a California Roll and a seaweed salad for a light lunch. Always so fresh and delicious. Staff is always welcoming and kind.
