Incredible food. Best deal around. Takes a while(30-60 minutes) so make sure you call in.

So, I have a lot to say about this place and all I have to say is positive.Firstly, I was meant by a very gracious woman that told me her favorite sushi rolls. She was incredibly helpful, very nice, and had a great sense of humor. She was very knowledgeable about the food and was more than happy to make recommendations upon my request. You can tell that there is a deep appreciation for the culture and food being prepared here. You can expect there to be a wait time here because there are only two people making the food and it is hand prepared. It's this level of dedication and cultural background with preparing this type of food that lets you know it's going to be absolutely amazing. The wait is more than worth it. The entire time we were waiting, we were bombarded by the delicious scents of the food being made. Definitely had my mouth watering. The dynamite roll, rainbow roll, and spider roll that I got along with the nigiri and miso soup were prepared lovingly and were positively delectable. There was even plastic wrap put over the sushi and nigiri to protect it and keep it pristine and beautiful upon our arrival back to the hotel. My friend got gyoza and some chicken teriyaki that was absolutely delicious as well. The woman who prepared our food has even spent a painstakingly large amount of time - I imagined - creating dozens, upon dozens, upon dozens of origami cranes to decorate the inside of the restaurant. I cannot emphatically say how much I appreciate the tender love and care that has gone into creating the food as well as the atmosphere in this small space that they have provided.I definitely hope to come back here one day on one of my business trips in the near future to get some more delicious sushi. This may be a small business, but their food is intensely good for not very much money as well as being extremely high quality. Highly recommend.

You can’t beat this place for the price and the quality. Shumai is amazing; this is the first place I had ever tried shumai and nowhere else compares. I love the basic roll specials.

Pros: Order was correct, on time, and not burnt. The sushi was very good and a good price! Definitely get the 3 roll combo if you're interested in the basic sushi rolls.Cons: The portion size of the pork teriyaki was very small, with one section of the three total sections being taken up by a sauce cup which could've been placed in the bag. The meat was dry and had very little flavor, and the rice tasted like it was seasoned with Stove-Top Stuffing.

She was by herself and managed prep, sushi, stove, register and basically the whole store on her own. There's a tad wait due to this but the food that came out was perfect and even at a great price. As someone who's been to Japan before, it reminds me very much of home cooking and dining alike. Excellent stuff here, will return for sure.

I was so impressed with the quality and price of the sushi. Compared to some of the other sushi joints around here, I would say that this restaurant is one of the best, if not the best. We ordered three special rolls (Poke, Dragon, Volcano) and an Oyako Don for about $35. My only complaint was that I didn't like the wasabi and ginger, however, not a reason to deduct a star.We are definitely going back for the nigiri and sashimi. The only reason we didn't order any this time was because I didn't see the extra menu until we went back to pickup the food. There is only one person who cooks, so expect a wait - it was really worth it!!

Tasty hole in the wall, only downside is no on site dining, to-go only (limited space). The miso soup, sushi, and everything I've tried is quite good. Highly recommend

Only 1 person working here. She doesn't answer the phone. She doesn't acknowledge walk in customers. Her food is good, but not good enough to put up with the terrible customer service.

FULL STOP YALL! ?.This is hands-down the BEST Sushi in Columbia for your time &/or money. The preparation details will blow you way when you pick-up your order. Might be a wait, but, good things are worth the wait. :)Minato never disappoints!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Ms. Amy is a fantastic cook, and however she manages to keep her business open, support her. This food is awesome, especially at the extremely cheap prices for the daily specials. Give her a try, but only from 4pm-9pm of course
