Great overall service and food. I had the meat platter which consisted of 4 proteins and 2 sides ($30). The pork ribs were really tasty and the meat was tender, the brisket was good as well( the other two were good, nothing outstanding). I enjoyed the bbq beans and the Mac and cheese a lot. For dessert I had the pecan cobbler, which was a great ending for my meal. It was a lot of food( I had to take half of it home), and service on point.

Came for dinner at the bar. The food was exceptional for the price and the drinks were relatively cheap with good happy hour deals ($2 domestic bottles). Even the full priced drinks were very reasonable.I had the Midwood Grilled Cheese with pulled pork and hush puppies. Both were excellent, and I have nothing negative to say about it.The only downside was that the service was just okay.

Hubby has wanted to introduce me to this one for awhile, so when we finally had a date night we decided it was time. ? It was good!He got tacos which he shared with me. They were delish ?… I got a salad. Only “complaint” is I wish it had more chicken on it. Seemed too light on that ingredient but otherwise it too was yummy and I’d get it again.Service and atmosphere was also good. ??

I had the beef brisket and wife had pulled pork. It was wonderful. Great service. Obviously a good local spot as the place was packed and lots of takeout orders filled while we ate at the bar.

Smoked chicken was amazing. Baked beans amazing. Price is good Great atmosphere. Great music. The server Kayla was very nice.

The beef brisket was very tasty and the service was great. I ordered the Mack and cheese, barbecue baked beans, and iced tea. The service was excellent and the food came out quickly. The Beef brisket was tender and flavorful, the Mack and cheese was creamy and delicious, and the barbecue baked beans were sweet and savory. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience at this restaurant and would definitely recommend it to others. Thanks for the great food and service!

In the Columbia South Carolina area you must try Midwood smoke house.Absolutely the best bbq. The waiter even ask if you want fatty or lean bbq. The appetizer was cheese dip with chopped brisket. Mains we had ribs. Bbq pork. Burnt ends. Hash n rice. Sides baked beans. Rice. Hushpuppies. Broccoli casserole. Dessert. Banana pudding. All bbq sauces are homemade they bring you 3 samples to table. Sweet. Vinegar and mustard bases. Plenty of parking. Many tvs for the game inside. Large bar area. Just a wonderful place to eat. Will go back soon.

Had such a terrible bbq lunch the day before at Bubba's in Spartanburg, that my wife was hesitant to try again. Glad I insisted. This place is real good. Could smell the smoke as we approached; a good sign. Ribs were the highlight, always a good thing- meaty, moist and smoky. Didn't need any sauce. Sides very good, but pulled chicken was a little dry. Portions were generous, service good and we got to eat outside.

My husband found this restaurant on our way home from FL. The wait staff was friendly and the food was fantastic. My husband had burnt ends, Baked Beans & potato salad. He said the baked beans were the best he has ever had. I had the bbq pork with sweet potato fries We will be going back.

They were quite busy when we arrived at 5:45 pm. We were able to secure a table outdoor in their patio area. Got some sweet teas and IPA; shared the four meat combo plate and the large burnt end brisket plate. Really liked the ribs and brisket. Sides were generous and good too: Mac and cheese; collard green; coleslaw. Took leftovers home for lunch. Got the banana pudding and pecan cobblers for desserts. Enjoyed the dinner very much.
