The food was well prepared, as usual and service was great. I saw an Elderly couple come in, all the signs of old age was present. It came to my heart and mind to pay for their meal. I did so very discreetly with the help of the waitress they was not told who paid for their meal. I watched them leave, the wife was driving and had to help the husband into the car. Now I know they probably could have paid for their meal, but being kind to others is important. Integrity is"doing what is right when no one know you did it "
Our waitress was wonderful , The restaurant was very clean and the food fantastic at a great price. Our granddaughters loved the small plates and my husband and I loved the homemade vegetable s.
Stewed okra n tomatoes rocks here. Chicken livers are good altho could be improved upon. The rest of my party enjoyed their meals too altho i don't recall what they were at the moment. You can taste the tea in the sweet tea bc they don't use a overpowering amount of sugar. Staff was a pleasure too. Overall good experience in this thicket
The food is really good and the staff is very friendly. I enjoy the atmosphere of this lizards thicket. It's a nice place to have a relaxing meal.
Love this place a non cook or lazy person dream. The food is good. My phone orders are always ready for pick and the food is always hot. I am so glad its close to home.
I went to pick up a to go order at the Lizards Thicket in Blythewood and stood there for over 5 minutes with multiple employees looking me in my face. Not 1 person came and asked me if I needed any help. As soon as I walked out to my truck frustrated with the treatment I received I immediately walked back in to tell the manager how I was treated. Upon entering after only being outside for maybe a minute they were at the front counter helping 2 white women whom were paying for their meals. I asked to speak to the manager and informed her that I will not be doing business with them ever again, because of the treatment I received in their establishment. I felt they were truly racist and it bothered immensely. I will never spend money with people like that.
Husband wanted to stop here for breakfast because he said it had a cool name! Very friendly attentive staff despite being extremely busy. The atmosphere was family friendly. The portions were way more than I could eat. The selection was good with good quality!
Lizard's Thicket restaurant is a very good place to eat. Breakfast, dinner, or supper. Price is reasonable. Good home-cooked food the way you like them.
Went to the Nate's road location in Columbia, SC. I got the turkey, dressing with giblet gravy, yams, mac and cheese, and sweet tea. I felt the dressing was a little dry. The yams tasted like they were straight out the can. The mac and cheese needed seasoning. The tea needed more sugar.
Tuesday 7, my meal was good and filling! I had ordered fried chicken livers. I got more over cooked crumbles than whole livers. There was plenty time for this dish to be checked and presented...
