Everything at Kimchi Korean Restaurant is delicious from the appetizers to the big party dishes. I have never had a bad experience. Everything is superb. I highly recommend everyone to have a meal at Kimchi Korean Restaurant.

Was expecting the food to taste different because I’ve never tried it, but it tasted better than what i had imagined. Prices are reasonable for the amount you get, staff was very nice and polite, the server i got was a nice lady that even helped me pronounce the names of the dishes 11/10 definitely going again. (I got a variety of dishes and still managed to eat all of it was very tempting to bring home a lot of stuff in to-go boxes)
My partner & I were doing some shopping over at the Hyundai Oriental Grocery store midday, and decided to stop by the Kimchi Korean Restaurant to treat ourselves to some lunch. WOW! So glad we did!, we got there just as they opened & noticed a few friendly service men & women already waiting for the place to open (so obviously if it's good enough for the folks at Fort Jackson, we felt we stumbled upon a good find!) ..and in fact, we did!The folks who greeted us were friendly & showed us right to a table, and took our drink order as we checked out what was on the menu. They have a very reasonably priced lunch menu, with a large variety of Korean foods that seemed very mouth watering.I was in the mood for some fried rice & beef, and my partner went for the Tofu seafood soup dish, which was accompanied by a generous portion of rice. The server also adorned our table with a nice selection of Korean appetizers, which were served as part of the lunch, looked like some kimchi, korean potatoes , cucumbers, broccoli, & a variety of sprouts.Have to say, it was all very tasty, & we were glad we decided to stop by and enjoy lunch at the Kimchi Korean Restaurant. I would very much recommend the restaurant, and we will surely stop by again next time we're in the area, possibly try dinner next time we are in the area shopping.Thanks to the crew & staff for making us feel welcome & feeding us some delicious food!
First experience was perfect ! Even my kids agreed. After coming from another Korean restaurant that day , we were nervous. From the moment we got there until we left it was perfect. Host was smiling the entire time even through her mask. Space was clean and nostalgic. Server was fast and efficient. Food was delicious & fulfilling! The bimbimap hit different !!!! My favorite !!! So much flavor it’s crazyyy! & the chicken teriyaki is lit. Went during lunch and me and my two kids were fulfilled with all that food for only 23$ ! Can’t beat it. Definitely going back to try more things !
We tried this place based off reviews and I was not impressed. I don’t know if it’s the increase in meat prices, but we got a lot of grilled onions and little tiny pieces of meat. We tried to bulging lunch. This was not an adult sized portion of food and I don’t eat a lot so I can’t imagine someone that does. I will not be returning which is sad because the reviews had us thinking it was going to be great.
Clean, fast, friendly, service. Lots of menu choices, generous portions, and the food is GREAT. Our new favorite place for a quick dinner.
Food was amazing!!! I came all the way from Miami!! Soup was so good. Food portion is great. Lunch special reasonably priced.
We have been going here for years. The food is always delicious, served hot and fresh every time. I enjoy the Bibimbap for lunch, any of their stews when it's cold, and if you have someone to eat with - the seafood stew is awesome!
I wish I had taken some pictures! The food was great. At lunch, we had a group of 5, 4 appetizers, 3 lunch specials, 2 full meals and a side of fried rice. I will be back when I visit Columbia SC again - so many dishes too try :)
