Food: 5Customer Service: 5Location/ Parking: 5Cleanliness: 5Reservations: NAThis Greek restaurant is situated on Devine street in the heart of Columbia, SC and near the Fort Jackson military community. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering dishes. We stopped by this location a few weeks ago for lunch, and we did a call in order because they stay very busy throughout the day. We decided on two of their popular bowls and their feta and Greek fries. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The cooks obviously use the best quality ingredients to produce dishes that are simply delightful.
The manager lady was VERY Racist she told me to my Face “she wasn’t aware that black people are this kind of food” then when I confronted her about it she refused to serve me my food, I was very disappointed by the service of this place, not friendly at all.
VERY VERY RUDE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE, and not only that they force you to buy LARGE fries and won’t sell you a small. I used to love this place until they gotten very Rude and they won’t let you buy what you want… I will never be coming here ever again.
We had a great meal here. I didn’t know what to order but I chose a salad and had them add my favorite ingredients to it. I thought the humus was rather plain but the red pepper feta certainly made up for it. My husband got the pita, and he enjoyed it as well. There have been few restaurants that I’ve felt were worth eating at recently, but this one deserves a return visit.
First time we ordered food here (through delivery app) it was amazing. Second time we picked up a to go order and they forgot/left off both the meat and 4+ toppings I paid for. Third time was last night, when we tried eating in to avoid any mistakes. We arrived at 7:24 PM and the open sign was off and the eating area was darkened, but there were still clearly employees making food behind the counter. I called to double check and the girl said “oh we’re closing early tonight and only taking to go orders” so I asked what time they were closing and she said “now but we still have some food left if you want to come in”. Really bizarre and I don’t know what’s going on with this place. I wish they were consistent because the food is really good
Hovering between three and four stars here. First the good news: the falafel appetizer is as good as falafel gets, assuming you get it cooked fresh (just ask). On the less good side--within the past six months or so they switched out the pita bread. The old pita was what one would expect, nothing extraordinary but fine. The new version is much thinner, almost like a cracker, and really takes away from the experience. Service is quick but not always very friendly. The turkey meatballs are our go-to and they are always delicious.
Tried this place for the first time today and I was very impressed! Unique, fresh offerings at a reasonable price. I will definitely be back to try other dishes!
Amazing food with good taste. Like that it’s easily customized. Good ingredients. Fast and affordable.
Bomb food & great healthy drink selection!!! I loved the ladies that served me that day & I wish I had their names 2 add 2 my comment but God knows who they were so I pray they receive recognition from this!!! Great job ladies!!! Salute!!!.....???
Hmmm... I may just have high expectations for Mediterranean Street food since being a regular at Top Pita. This just didn't hit the same as ones I've been to. The lentils were undercooked, the rice +quinoa was bland. I had to order an extra side of Baba Ganoush to make up for how bland the majority of my bowl was. We went as soon as they opened. Employee energy was low, however the bowl was pretty.
