I've been to Billy Jack's in Charlotte and it's almost like if I'm coming back home even though it was my first time visiting. Wagyu burgers are so delicious even when cooked well done (personally prefer my burgers medium, but this is just a matter of taste). Staff is amazing and attentive, beers selection is abundant, and the best thing about this place is that they reward loyalty. Drink 100 different beers and you're rewarded with a pretty cool looking shirt. Continue and you're given the title of being a "saint". Girlfriend and I will definitely be making more frequent trips from Charlotte over to here for the beer and the food, that's a promise
I enjoyed the burger a lot (Ponch which is a daily special). The fries are great and the serving size is generous. Service was also very good. I deducted a star for the atmosphere. The music was so loud at lunch time that I had to yell in order to carry on a conversation across the table. Unfortunately a deterrent for me going back there…
Food was so tasty! Even though they don't have lettuce or tomatoes but that wagyu beef makes up for it! So fresh and tasty.Cheese fries are great. Music is crazy loud and the decor is crazy cool. Bathrooms are nice. Workers are super friendly. $12 for a burger is worth it when it's wagyu beef and fresh and hot.
Where do I start…let me say I am speechless, we’ll I was almost fingerless after the experience I just had at Jack Browns. The burgers are PHENOMENAL!!!! The service EXCEPTIONAL!!! This is no ordinary burger joint. The atmosphere is so calm and inviting. The food was hot and fresh and served literally in 5 min. My wife and I celebrated out 1 month anniversary there tonight and let’s say I will be going back often. Our server Dev was so cool and on point. Thanks Dev for being so kind and sweet.
Nice burger spot. They make a smash burger style if you're into that. Ordered the cowboy and the Dr Gonzo. They were good but I feel like the plain cheeseburger would have been just as good. Next time I'm going to order a plain cheeseburger and see if I'm right. Let's talk about the fries. Loved them. In the pictures they may look like your average crinkled cut fries but they are way better. They are a little thinner with more edges... delicious. Bonus they stayed hot from the first fry to the last.
What kind of burger fan are you? If you like medium well beef patties, chewy bacon, and well done fried eggs, this is a good place for you. If, like me, you’re more of a medium rare beef, crisp bacon, runny fried egg sort of person, move on down the road. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is fun, the fries are tasty, and the selection of beer is good.
I am so happy this place opened in Columbia, I recommend all my friends. Must try fries with cheese and bacon. They also bring you a giant tub of sauce they make there and it’s amazing; I put it on everything. Great vibes , loud music , good food/service. You can make a beer card and get up to 100 beers for a shirt and other cool stuff. Really fun place with great food.
It was the best burger I’ve had in a while and it was very flavorful. The server was fantastic, everything was spot on! Couldn’t help but get a second round!! 10/10
