Very cool atmosphere with lots of seats inside, outside, and a rooftop bar. They had a pretty big food menu with pizza, salads, and appetizers. Sausage balls are a must! Pizza was also pretty good with oven crispy crust. Beer was good too!! Lots of different kinds of beers, plus liquor, and wine. Because of the high ceilings, it was kind of loud and the sun shined through the windows and blinded us as the sun was setting so choose your seats carefully!
Everyone was so nice. Seriously, they seem like a fun little restaurant family. They helped each other run drinks and food and every new person who came by was fun. The food is on point as well. My husband enjoyed a special and I had the goat cheese salad with chicken. The beers were also great. We haven't been really been somewhere here that we felt like we needed to go back, but this is the one. Thank you guys lots.
What a neat place! Building was so cool. Prices were not bad. Pizza was delicious. Menu was, as expected limited, but what they do serve is very tasty. Sadly we had 2 different bartenders that were not so nice but we it happens. Looking forward to coming back again.
I’d like to preface this review by saying, I’m SUPER biased.My husband and I had our wedding reception here and it was so perfect!!!Pizza, bar, snacks, really amazing atmosphere, dog friendly! We come back every year on our anniversary for pizza and beer. It’s so special to us.
The beer is delicious. The pizza is highly recommended. That's the good stuff. Stay away from the nachos they fell short. So far that's all I've eaten here but I'll try something new next time. Grab a beer and head up to the roof top deck and watch the planes fly in. Or bring binoculars and spy on your kids while they skateboard.
First time trying Hunter Gatherer and it was solid. Not my favorite or least favorite but above average as far as breweries go. Food was good but a bit over priced and the beer selection left a little to be desired if you're into high percentage or heavier beers. The ability for outdoor seating in the warmer seasons is great! I will be coming back in the summer.
Great location to visit friends. Food is 2nd to none. I would say the food is a solid 4 bordering on 5 while the beer in general is good, but not spectacular compared to some area craft breweries; but I wouldn't pass up any of their brews if I had to choose between them and a can. No matter what, I plan on coming back for more.
Beautiful venue and historic building!! We have family ties to the original owners and loved spending time there for an event. Staff were all amazing, the space and accommodations were all premium quality. Can't wait to go back!
there were no hi lights well the iced tea was good. service could have been better.
Hunter-Gatherer Brewery at the Hangar is such a cool atmosphere. Even though the airport doesn't have a regular stream of planes, the occasional plane adds to the environment. The pizza's all look incredible, but the Mushroom pizza was excellent! We also had the Sausage Balls, which were good, but nothing that blew my socks off. A good selection of beers as well.
