I had the fried mac and cheese with tomatillo jam, which was a special today, and my husband tried their dry rubbed wings, along with the carnitas taco. Everything came out hot, quickly, and would be dishes that we would order again.
Wow, pretty damn good BBQ....and I don't even eat pork. We started with an appetizer of smoked chicken wings, they were excellent. I would come back here just for the wings. They came with Alabama BBQ sauce. Wife and I split a three meat platter, with pulled chicken, smoked turkey and beef brisket. We had Cole slaw and cucumber tomato salad for sides. I it was pretty good. I would probably not get the pulled chicken next time. I didn't like the sauce it was covered in. We will definitely be back....if you go get the wings those things are slamming.
I was able to visit this jewel today for lunch. The customer service was great, and food was really delicious. The brisket was super flavorful, along with the pull pork and ribs. The wings had a little kick with a hint of sweetness. On top of all that the food came out fresh and fast. The restaurant owner/Manager came out to ask how our food was. I’ve come to Home Team a few times and each time I leave I think, dang that was good!! From traditional BBQ to the tacos and sides all of it is satisfying. The carnitas taco and the brisket are my favorites, followed by the burnt ends and baked beans. Mac ‘n cheese is okay and the tomato salad was a simple light side for a heavy meat laden meal. I will definitely be going back.
We are from Texas and we loved their smoked brisket. Full of flavor tender and moist. They're red sauce and their hot red sauce were both great. Did not try the sweet sauce. Brunswick stew, cucumber and tomato salad, and pickled onions also great. Life had the hamburger which is made from the trimmings of the brisket. Awesome. We ate everybody of everything on our two trays. Will definitely go back again because we're going to be in this area for 4 days. Want to try their fried pork ribs.

Great spot to catch the game!Has a bar vibe as it is loud but also plenty of TVs for whatever sporting event you want to catch.Kicked it off with the wings which have a phenomenal sweet and spicy dry rub paired with a delicious Alabama white sauce.My brisket was a bit overcooked but still very good, pulled pork was on point. The selection of sauces has a good range and flavor to please everyone! Mac and cheese is delicious. This place is about as dependable as it gets for a bigger restaurant serving BBQ.We were very happy with the service we received, the restaurant was packed but our waiter was still about getting our orders in, our plate out, and drinks topped off!

Took my son here for his birthday. He enjoyed his sandwich but the baked beans smelled and tasted like coffee, which was odd. My husband enjoyed the Sunday Fried Chicken. I tried the tacos and they were not good. They have a nice outdoor seating area but it could use a good cleaning.
