A friend recommended this place to me 3 years ago. It is the tastiest and the best priced sea food in the Columbia area. My wife and I eat here at least once a month and have always gotten the same courteous service and great tasting sea food.
Poor attitude from female that answered the phone. Very passive aggressive in person. Wanted to ask for my money back before even looking at the food.The food is absolutely bland. No wonder they charge you an extra dollar for salt & pepper. Nothing is seasoned. Fish, potatoes, nothing.And for all that attitude, she couldn't even put plastic ware and napkins in the bag. My first and last time at this place. The 2nd star is only because the place was clean inside.
The food was delicious as always, and the owners are friendly. Service really is excellent and we always thoroughly enjoy our meals here.
Waking in I did not have the highest of hopes but was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food is. The salt & pepper catfish was absolutely delicious! I had the catfish and jumbo shrimp combo with side salad and steamed veggies. The seafood is what shines, a light breading to coat and tender juicy meat. The reason for not a 5 star: if you don’t like creamy dressings then bring your own for salad, the veggies were the standard steamed with no salt, pepper or flavor (easy to add your own), and the floors of the dining room are carpeted (never a good look or smell for a restaurant). Good prices for some great seafood. I will go back with friends soon.
I’m new to the area and wanted some good fried fish! This place s didn’t disappoint. The food was so fresh and hot. My fries were even crispy by the time I got it home. This is a must try and I will be back
This is an low key seafood restaurant. The prices are very good. The food is very tasteful and you get a lot. The inside decor is older and outdated but the service is good. They also have some non seafood items on the menu. Finally, they do take out as well.
Clean and amicable service that was great. The food was freshly cooked and delicous. I come here frequently and I highly recommend it to my friends.
The food was good and came out hot. I can't complain about that. The fish could have used a little more seasoning. But the big thing was the sauces. For some reason they all were watered down and didn't have the flavor like they should. The tarter sauce was in a squirt bottle and was runny. They had hot sauce that wasn't hot and you know we need that good hot sauce to go with our fish. So, I was really disappointed with that one. Service was good. They were on time with asking if we were ok.
My girlfriend and I ate here for the first time Friday night, and everything was outSTANDING --- as my dad would say! Although the decor was nothing fancy, the food was excellent! Having.ordered the golden and silver platters, the seafood was cooked perfectly to a golden perfection, seasoned well, and not greasy. Our server was friendly and very attentive! With my beautiful lady, it was the perfect end of the day!!! If you're ever in the Seven Oaks area and crave seafood --- give them a try!!!!
