My husband and I LOVE Freshe Poke in Columbia, SC! We frequent both the Huger and Forest Drive locations. It is the only place in the city I can order anything sushi-like. (I have a severe peanut/tree nut allergy and Freshe Poke is safely nut free!). It is hands-down the freshest, tastiest poke in the city and it was the only place we continued to order from during the pandemic because it's just THAT GOOD. Recently, my husband and I stopped in to split a bowl for lunch at the Forest Drive location. The card reader was having some technical difficulties and we were incorrectly charged 3 times. I reached out to the restaurant via the "Contact Us" link on their website. Within an hour, I was venmoed the additional amount charged. Shout out to Sally for being so responsive and providing such excellent customer service! (which is so hard to find these days!). We will be loyal customers for life!
This is the kind of place I would treat myself too once a week. The bowls are pretty good and made how I like them, and the teas add a good touch. Try it out if you haven't.
Tried for the first time and I loved it. Didn't really know what I was ordering because I have never really tried poke like this. But everything was fresh. The chicken was tender. You can create your own or choose from one of their signature bowls. I also tried abubbke tea! Interesting texture....but the flavor was amazing. Like a mocha milkshake. I will be back to try other bowl combos! !
A for effort. As someone who is from Hawaii, the limited choices when it comes to fish was disappointing but that's okay, we get what we get. I ordered the ahi tuna (spicy), and my husband ordered the bubble tea. Almost everything was included in the spicy ahi bowl except for cilantro with sushi rice, 2 scoops of ahi tuna, added furikake, and extra green onions. Everything came out to be about $21. The place was clean, plenny sitting areas inside and outside sitting area is available. Restrooms are also available.Just one suggestion is include packets of nori (seaweed wrap) cause I would eat that ish with poké. Goes really good with poké! It was probably available but I didn't see it ?♀️?.Thanks for the great experience! would I recommend? Yes, it's as closest you can get to taste some of the popular Hawaiian dishes.Aloha~
This place is by far the best poke place I have ever been too! Everything was made to perfection, and the boba was out of this world! The tapioca was warm, but the drink itself was cold so it was a perfect contrast. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the SC area!
It was delicious, all the ingredients were fresh, just a little more variety of dressings for my taste. The place is clean and the customer service was excellent. The photos of poke was made by ourselves (my husband and me).
Great bubble tea/boba, love the freshe classic. Would go once a week if I could afford it
Stopped in for a Thai tea with boba- it tasted as expected- delicious. The boba were slightly different with a brown sugar flavor. I didn’t order a bowl but will be back to try a meal!
Normally the drinks are great! Today we went to get drinks, I ordered my usuals and I was very disappointed to see my drink was 75% ice. I’d like to hope this is a one time thing. I can get ice for free at home. Hate to say it but I literally paid for a cup full of ice this time around.
This is truly one of my favorite things in the world to eat. I love Poke of all brands, but this is the BEST I've ever had. The ingredients are top notch. The proportions are perfect. The sauces are super flavorful. I would eat this for all three meals each day.
