Yet another guilty pleasure of mine. I wouldn't call it healthy, but for your money it's a veritable mountain of meat and rice in my experience. You could do worse for a lazy, sodium-filled evening.Service is also worth shouting out. Everyone nails it. Never a bad experience and everyone knows the score and is cool to boot.
The Dynasty Delight is great. The location and homeless people in the parking lot are another story. There was a woman in the restuarant yelling, that clearly had mental issues. They did nothing about it. Several customers walked out while staning in line to order.
As a native New Yorker the quest for good Chinese food is always on. This place filled that want. The dumplings, soups and egg rolls were very good. The dishes were good, not great but definitely best we’ve had so far, especially the beef. This will now be the go to place for when the craving hits. Super nice staff and comfortable clean place to sit and enjoy.
I have eaten at Egg Roll Chen my entire life, both the Columbia and West Columbia location. They were always top notch. However, I went yesterday and order the whole chicken wing combo used to come with 3 whole wings, fried rice, an eggroll and drink and was $7.95. I had even visited here throughout 2021. I call in the order, and when I pull up to the window, I was told that my order was $10.95. I asked how and they said the price went up 5 years ago... Sure, because 2021 was 5 years ago. Anyways, get home and they decreased the whole wings to only 2 and yet, the worst part, the chicken and rice had absolutely no taste. Both the chicken and rice blended together (I literally started questioning if I might have had covid because I could not take any of the food) fortunately I went and ate something else to be sure and it tasted fine. All in all, they are now giving less food, horrible quality and raised the price $3. Sorry, but I understand why it only takes one bad experience to stop doing business with a company. 22 years and they've officially lost me.
Consistently the best Asian food in town. Very generous servings, quick service, lots of vegetables. The steamed dumplings are excellent, the Szechuan dishes are good & spicy and the egg rolls are perfect!

Chinese restaurants are always on the low end of ratings. The restaurants itself is run down, there is nothing fabulous about it, but that is always excusable if the food is good. Which unfortunately leads me to a 3 star review. Lo mein is greatly lacking. It is noodles, that is it. Just noodles. No spice, no sauce, nothing.Oh also fortune cookies are 10¢ a piece. How am I suppose to bet on a lottery ticket without my lucky numbers?
This by far was THEEEE WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The rice was bland and the chicken in both entrees tasted like burnt old grease. Even had a 4pc chicken wing that was awful. Won’t be back. Thought it would be nice to try a new establishment since relocating to this side of town. But I’ll continue to drive to Parklane for the experience.
While the side of rice was good, they forgot my two side orders of egg fried rice. Plus, the protein (chicken and shrimp) did not taste very fresh. The portions are big buts all it has going for it.
