This was my first time trying this place. I arrived and the door was locked with a sign that said online orders only. Then I go to the car and place the order online and got a confirmation to pick-up at a certain time. Once I go to pickup my order, I find the door locked!!! And nobody seemed to be inside, and this was a couple of hours before closing. Then I call my bank to see if my card was charged and it was!! I should've followed my gut and avoided this place based on the terrible reviews.Donnell Robinson
So...I am New To the area. Wanted to try some good Ole SC BBQ. The nice Lady was working alone, cashier and kitchen. I ordered a plate with sliced Brisket, Ribs with Beans, Mac n cheese and a BBQ Pulled pork sandwich. I live 5 mins up the road. Got Home, everything was super cold. Like she placed it out of the Fridge unto the to-go container. Sides had No Flavor. Super disappointed...
Approached store at 12:45pm, door was locked. Went in side door and was told door was locked because of short staff. Two other customers were there confused as well. Employee was on his phone talking to a friend about what he did the night before, was very into the call. When I asked if I could order, he said he had to wait on his manager that was sitting in their car to unlock the register. He went out to get them and they refused to come in so he came back in and said they were closed. I left and noticed the “manager” laid back in their car smoking a cigarette without a care in the world. PATHETIC!
DICKEYS BARBECUE PIT SHAME ON YOU! I’ve never eaten at the Columbia location only Brunswick. I have been to the GA location 10 times and it’s always been amazing! So when I saw my favorite GA bbq spot in my home town I was pumped and that’s where my excitement ended. What a total dump. No ac, no drinks no ice cream no hot food and no stealer service I can to except from DBP. The only thing that worked was my debit card to pay for the cold, old, and poor service I received.when I saw the date of my order I asked for a refund and the girl asked me why I wasted her time.. come on I expected much better
Showed up during normal business hours. Location closed. Sign on door that said be back at 6. Waited to about 615. No one ever showed. No reason to ever come here again
I can't even comment on the food because I've had two delivery orders canceled in a week. The first time after waiting 2 HOURS for the food just to be given to a driver-- they tell the driver they are out of everything I ordered. The 2nd time, the driver shows up at 4:45p on a Tuesday and they are closed. Their website, Google, and all the delivery apps say they are open. Would not recommend for delivery.
Just accepted an Uber Eats delivery from here. Arrived and while the door was unlocked, all lights were off and I didn't smell any food cooking whatsoever.There was a questionable looking person (male/female?) passed out at a table, who either was asleep, fake sleeping, or maybe even dead. They wouldn't respond to my questions. Not sure if they were an employee, or what. I cancelled the order and left. Creepy and ghetto, stay away!

AWFUL SERVICE!!!! Zero stars is more appropriate. The restaurant is closed yet again. I placed an online order (paid for in advance) but it is not available. The doors are locked and no one exhibits enough professionalism to say why…no sign on the door to indicate why it’s closed but someone is in there. This will be my last time patronizing this establishment!!!! The manager told me he could not process my refund!!! Don’t waste your time or money here!
The first two times I’ve ordered online from them months ago, I get there and I was told that they didn’t have anymore meat, in which I was supposed to get my money back but never did. I’ve ordered again today and when I get there, the doors was locked. It’s supposed to be open at 11 but didn’t even open until after 1 so I left. I will not coming back to this establishment again.
