I just moved out to South Carolina from Utah and I was excited to have a Del taco nearby. It was not the same as what I had back in Utah. The food was fresher the flavors were better and it had a better overall taste with a del taco are used to live in Utah. I do not know what’s going on with this location and if they’re using something different but it just seems that it’s very off far as the food goes.
Ordered three beyond tacos with sour cream. Proceeded to get two tacos and no sour cream. Went around the drive thru, was told they "were in a rush" and was offered to just get a side of sour cream. A
Grew up on this in cali. Drove 2.5 hrs to eat here for my husband's and my birthday.We asked if they do military discount. She said yes. Then charged us full price.It did not taste the same as on west coast and they were horrible people tbh..Their dining room was closed so we had to order drive through and sit outside.Daughter spilled her drink immediately. Hubby asked to get it refilled and she said "we didn't spill it so you have to buy a new one"After we just spent $75 and didn't even get all of our food
I first had Del Taco in California and fell in love with the fish tacos. I was excited to now have fish tacos here in Columbia. I was very disappointed!! They tasted NOTHING like the fish tacos from California. The shell was stale and the fish was hard. Although the service was quick and friendly it's not enough to make me return to this Del Taco. Maybe my expectations were too high after falling in love with the fish tacos from California.
I've been to different Del Tacos and this was not impressive. No Dine in only drive thru. Lady at drive thru messed up on most of our orders, so we had to go through the drive thru qgain. By the time we got to our hotel (less than 10 mins away) our food was nearly cold and bland. The secret sauce was mostly sour cream. When we got the french fries it wasn't much. The milkshakes we're great though. I know Del taco does better than this. So, I don't know why this was different. Plus overly expensive. Not sure I'll go to this one again.
We ordered through Uber Eats and the food arrived in about a half hour which seemed great. BUT…fish in fish taco were rock hard and not edible. Same with fries. Guacamole tasted sour. Please put the emphasis back on quality. Such a shame.
I can honestly say I did not care for their food. I tried that Del cheeseburger it was like a bad version of The Big Mac at McDonald's the Buns that they use was too thick in the meat was too small. I tried their chicken tender tacos the sauce that they use was nasty to me and the chicken tenders were fried too hard so you really can't even enjoy the taco. Their crinkly fries were okay it barely had any seasoning on it. I can say I did enjoy the strawberry Sprite that was delicious. I did try their beef taco as well the seasoning was very strong and spicy. My boyfriend got the double cheeseburger with bacon. I thought this Burger would have actual strips of bacon on it but all they had was bacon bits at the bottom of it. Needless to say this was our first and last time there.
First time going here and last. The hard taco shells had a weird smell to them, like chemicals or something. The chili cheese fries were cold and the regular fries were not that great. Definitely not like I remember in CA. Hard pass!

If I could give no stars it would be fitting. Definitely not what I was expecting. Shells tasted like chemicals, chicken was grayish and the beans tasted like nothing. We literally ate a taco, someone ate the burrito, I tasted the nachos and then we stopped at the QT threw it away and grabbed snacks. First and last time at DT.
