I really really love this place because they DO have the best cupcakes in town however, the choice of flavors has not drawn my family and I there lately. Please bring back the blueberry, chocolate almond, and other flavors that was a major hit year last. We miss you guys!
For as long as I can remember, I have been going to Cupcake Down South for their regular, mega, holiday, special occasion cupcakes for five years. They have top all others in my opinion and their variety of flavors are unbeatable.
They have some of the best cupcakes. Added 3.25.2022. If they had curb side they could sell more cupcakes. I come by and can't find parking sometimes so I have to just not buy any that day. I live close to 30 minutes away so delivery is not an option.
I was in town and saw this cupcake shop. Most of the cupcakes were good but some of the specialty ones had some issues. The peach cupcake was very dense and heavy, while the carrot cake cupcake was perfect.
We had Cupcake DownSouth make our wedding cake (2-tier mega cupcake) and had 6 different flavored cupcakes for our guests. OH.MY.GOSH. Everything was amazing! Our wedding cake was probably the best red velvet cake I've ever had. Our guests were raving about the cupcakes too! They have such unique flavors. Highly recommend! The staff were all amazing too!
We LOVE Cupcake!! They made this wonderful, absolutely delicious custom mini cake for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. It was exactly what we asked for, and it was so decadent. They were fast, attentive, great communicators, and incredible bakers. We’ll absolutely be ordering another cake for her next birthday ❤️ 10/10 would recommend to everyone!
Great cupcakes, easy to get in and out, and the more you buy, the better the price per cupcake. I’m gluten free and order gluten free cupcakes for my birthday each year. They bake them in the morning first before taking out gluten-containing products.
Two stars is for great customer service..Now , the cupcakes is a no for me..Very bland ..icing is way to thick and sugary..The icing weighs more than the actual cupcakes..I do appreciate the art of it..Kudos to the baker for working hard..I had homemade tasting cupcakes before..It's moist and delicious..The icing didn't melt in my mouth..It was thick..My kids didn't really like it either..Oh well...On to the next, tasting.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! The cupcakes are unbelievably yummy! They’re not only beautiful but delicious. The chocolate monkey (i think that’s the name) was by far my favorite from this bunch! The banana flavor in the frosting + walnuts and chocolate was almost godly! The staff is always very friendly and love to tell you about their AMAZING flavors. DownSouth also has vegan options if that’s something you’re looking for! If you’re in the area you have to check them out!
