My son and I stopped by right before they closed last night. Everyone was very nice to us. Our food was wonderful and so was the service. Their prices are really reasonable and we intend to eat there again in the near future.

Really enjoyed it here. The staff was friendly and courteous. The wait to be seated was short. Our orders came out promptly and were hot and delicious. My wife ordered the grilled chicken tenders and I had the country fried steak. Both were delicious. My wife really liked the tenders. They were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Would definitely eat here again.

I tried to eat at this location (253 Forum Drive, Columbia SC) 3 times. The first time was a Saturday morning, and the restaurant was 50% full. I was told it would be a 45- 50 minute wait. I looked at the copious amount of empty tables, and the host said “I know we are not full but we are short today.” The second time was similar, the parking lot was half full, and I was told it would be a 35 minute wait. Both times I went to a better and local restaurant, and the service was 1000% better.Today was the final time we went here to try to eat. We were told it would be 35 minutes. It took 60 minutes, which can happen. However, after getting seated and ordering food, we waited 47 minutes for two breakfast servings. We paid for the coffee and left. The restaurant was busier but not at full capacity, and when we left, it was 50% full. The waitress said there were still two tickets ahead of ours. What happened was the kitchen was prioritizing the call in orders over the people sitting in the restaurant. This restaurant location is never in a hurry to sit people nor serve food to the patrons inside. Terrible. 253 Forum Dr, Columbia SC is not being ran efficiently or effectively.

Too slow of service. We waited a few minutes to be seated and then after a few more minutes our waitress came and said it will be a moment, she has to give her table their food first. She didn’t bother taking our drink orders. After 10 more minutes had passed my wife and I walked out. If it takes them that long to serve, I’ll spend my money elsewhere. They weren’t all that busy considering how many wait staff were working. We decided ti go to Lizard’s Thicket down the road and sat straight down, got our water and coffees within a minute, and took our order as she gave us our drinks. They are busier with less staff and much more pleasant and effective. I won’t be going back to this Cracker Barrel location again.

We waited 1/2 hour and they said they called us and texted us. I showed her my phone where clearly they did not. She shrugged and said oh well. They never brought our box until we left the table and said nevermind. They were all so disrespectful and made us feel terrible. I will never go there again!!

Would give zero stars if I could. I understand everyone has employee shortages now a days so do I but when there ain't but a dozen folks in the entire restaurant and half have already eaten and we still couldn't get served, not even offered a drink, the best part is WE WAITED FOR 30 MINUTES. Yes we did find the manager, eventually, very very good chance we will not be back. Manager was kind and asked us back in but kindly refused. Wound up at Texas roadhouse 10 minutes down the road and wished we would have went there to start with for as bad as the service was at cracker barrel the Texas roadhouse was that great!!!

Came here quite awhile ago but a memory from that experience just resurfaced and I couldn’t help but to leave a review. My experience at the time was actually quite wonderful had a blast with my family, great food came at a timely manner, and our server was quick and attentive (forgot her name but she had glasses)What made me make this review 4 stars was because at the time we were eating, 2 workers came in to the dining room and started looking around the tables frantically at first I thought none of it till I figured out they were trying to chase a roach! I found it funny and started laughing but it could probably be a health concern for others.

Just terrible. We have eaten at Cracker Barrel many times in the past. Always thought we could depend on it while traveling to serve a consistent quality meal. Not so!First, when the food came, EVERYTHING was cold. How do you cook eggs, pancakes, bacon and serve them cold? Maybe by cooking them ahead of time. When the issue was pointed out to the waiter, he took the food back and within a couple minutes, brought it back out.Obviously it went right into a microwave. We also waited forever it seemed to get a refill on the coffee.I believe I have entered Cracker Barrel for the last time.

Served raw hamburger meat, (meat loaf) country fried steak had congealed gravy. Waited a long time for food. People around us were served a nice looking country fried steak. Tried to talk to the manager, but wouldn’t come out from the back. Wrote emails to corporate , no replies. Should call health department- raw meat. GROSS DEBORA WEBSTER

So I have no qualms with cracker barrel. But man would I never go back after this experience. This totally flies in the face to the experience we had at one off I95 in Georgia. The waitress was very odd, she would just stand there and stare at us in silence. It was just under 2 hours from the time we got there until we left, which is absolutely ridiculous. The place was empty when we got there, less than half full when we left. The steak fries and salad were by far the best things our family had. Though the lack of good salad dressings is a shame and doesn't do the salad justice. The maple bacon chicken was actually pretty good. But the mashed potatoes were dry and not very warm. The corn was flavorless, like completely flavorless. The mac and cheese was cold. The steak came out looking like a piece of rubber, the non burnt parts were okay but it looked nothing like the photos online. The first set of biscuits were cooked perfectly, but the second batch were undercooked and doughy. The only thing that saves this from being a 1 star is the fact that the manager was very nice and part of the #BillsMafiaI would not recommend this location to anybody
