the store is a must.i shope and eat. leave full and happy
Really wonderful staff and freshly prepared food , every time we visit family near by .
Food is always good. Our waitress, Emoni, was excellent and pleasant.
It's never good in the evenings any more, at least on Wednesday evenings, service is very poor. Biscuits are hard , Slow on refills if we even get any, We've been ignored to the point we had to asked the host to find our server so we could order. I usually come every Wednesday for the broccoli cheddar chicken but I think I'll be visiting different location due to the mediocre experience
I used to go to Cracker Barrel all the time but the other day was my first time back visiting Cracker Barrel since we had this virus going around. I did it take out roast beef turnip greens broccoli and biscuit. I gave one star for the employees that I came in contact with that was very nice. The food was horrible my roast beef taste like dog food smells, the biscuit was hard like it might have been there for a week or more, the green was a hit and miss. So for now Cracker Barrel well this particular Cracker Barrel is off my list a places to go taking it out to carry app.
The three piece chicken dinner seemed old and dried out. The squash casserole was delicious however. Second bad meal I've gotten there and I don't go frequently. Over the past two visits, the second visit being to get a refund or replacement on the first meal , only one of three meals were good and that was the replacement meal. Selected the same dinner this time and the quality was not the same. Perhaps if the time of day? The staff, however, are very nice and helpful.
We always get takeout and eat in our RV. Food was great, hot, and service was excellent. Quiet location for overnight, with five designated RV spaces and room for a larger rig to parallel park behind those. Check Google satellite view if you’re a big rig. Was surprised at how ‘unbusy’ this restaurant was for a Friday night. Another CB that makes our list of favorites for trips to and from western Florida.
I guess their hallmark is old fashioned food. It's OK. A star for being inexpensive. I would not go out of my way to eat here. The convenience of being right off the interstate is the second star. All in all I would rather eat at Waffle House. If bland food is to your liking then this is the place.
Tonight I ordered Southern Fried Chicken with turnip greens and pinto beans. The chicken was hard and very dry. It appeared to have been sitting for a very long time. Couldn't eat it. The pinto beans didn't have any seasoning at all. Couldn't eat them. The turnip greens were tasty. $12.00 is a lot to pay for turnip greens. Who ever prepared my food knew it was not fit to be served
The Sweet N' Smoky Glazed Tenders, along with the Cinnamon sugar Biscuit Beignets and the Sugar Plum Sweet Tea was Incredible!
