The experience starts when the person takes your order. When asked for my order I should only have to tell them once and not three times when I speak very clearly. There should be no attitude or negative tone in the order takers voice. Their demeanor should always be cheerful. Mine always is. It's extremely hard to find a manager who trains their front staff with those qualities. This has always been an issue with me at this location and many other fast food joints in this town. Really sad. Food is okay. A little pricey but cheaper than Piggy Park for sure. This location used to be my favorite.
Great food, great service. Prices are good. Loved the little note on the fry bag. Their milkshakes are so good too!
I came here during a rush of other lunch crowd patrons via drive-thru and I got a few trays. Everything was hot and made the way that I asked. The food was cooked perfectly. This cookout is a lot better than the one on Two Notch Road.
Food was great and employees were nice.Just wish they would open the dining room. Now that we are in an endemic, it's time to open up. It's either eat in your car or drive home and eat cold food.
Great food but the light skin female employee with the red hair working the window is rude and unprofessional. The employees in the day are MUCH better. Bad customer service will trump good food every time.
Heard good things about their shakes so I went to try one out. I wasn't disappointed. Will be back to try some of their food.
Is zero stars were an option, I would give it that!We literally just left there, and after a long day of work and not wanting to cook tonight, we decided to eat at The Cookout. For starters the woman at the drive through was very unprofessional. We had to turn around because she forgot one of our drinks, she asked for our receipt as if we didn't JUST drive off. The receipt that she had given us wasnt even our receipt. She finally gave us the tea and slammed the window, no apology or anything for the inconvenience. Its so disappointing how bad customer service can ruin everything. Fast forward... we get home and the burgers were soogy and there was no cheese, or any of the other ingredients I asked for on the burger. It was just awful!! I will never go back there.
Stopped at the location in Columbia on Bush River Rd. The csr taking orders via the speaker was talking 1,ooo words per second and garbled. After multiple attempts to place the order, she was hearing WHAT SHE WANTED TO HEAR, I was successful. WELL, ALL 3 ORDERS WERE WRONG!!!I returned and complained to the manager on duty. She got verbally rude. I requested and spoke to the GM, he was very kool & tried to smooth me over. But, I already felt that my dollars weren't respected. I'm contacting Corporate & complaining about these issues and the managers lack of respect to a customer regarding a complaint.
Literal chunks of styrofoam in my shake…big yikes…EXTREMELY Dangerous!!!! Do not go here, they really just don’t care. Also, while I’m here, that drive through speaker is so janky and inaudible.
If I could give ZERO stars I would!This cook out was completely disgusting.. My food was cold after "waiting 15 minutes and my burger was not cooked all the way completely raw in the middle. Fries were old, cold, and disgusting. Completely disappointed in the services and customer service skills. I DON'T recommend this cook out to ANYONE.. Especially if your pregnant and hungry!
