I’m not a really big fan of Mexican food but my husband loves it so I try to indulge him every once in a while. I must say though that I really enjoyed the molcajete that I ordered. I probably spelt it wrong lol but you all get the gist. It was surprisingly amazing and my goodness that stone pig was stuffed with steak, shrimp, chorizo, pork, and chicken. My husband finished up his meal quickly and had some of mines but we still needed a to go box for the more than half that was left in my little piggy. I would’ve given 5 stars had our waiter not abandon us and then the hostess ended up attending to us after being without a server for almost 20 minutes. Can’t believe I’m saying this about Mexican food lol but I’d definitely go back to try more on their menu. I’d just request a different server to have a better experience.
My husband & I went to the NE location on Sparkleberry for date night. For starters the signage was very minimal and we had a hard time locating it but when we did no difficulties finding parking space. We were seated immediately which was great. Our server was ok. She did not introduce herself or ask if we had been there before and just took our drink order. We ordered a beer and a jumbo Patrone margarita. They were great! When she came back she brought chips and 2 bowls salsa, a white sauce and another orangeish sauce. Agian didn't state what the additional 2 bowls were. When I spoke up and said we had never been there before and what were the 2 extra sauces she just quickly said homemade ranch and hot sauce. We gave our food order-husband Carnitas me a chicken valerta. Both were good but the chicken instead of sauted onion just had a half raw onion sliced on top, which was removed by myself. When I made the server aware she said it was sauted, clearly it wasn't. The food and drinks were good. The server abruptly brought our bill without asking if we needed/wanted anything else-came off as rude to do that. Maybe the Forest Acres restaurant has better trained servers, we may try it. Food was good, drinks were good just maybe some smiling faces on the employees would be a nice change and not assume your customer has been there before.
Food was good, and the interior lighting was very bright, which may seem like minor detail, but is very good change from most Mexican restaurants when you are visually impaired like I am. The menus had very small text, but we were able to find it online, which was awesome. The Super Burrito was amaxing and my wife loved her food too.i'd give this place a try.
Great flavor, good menu selection, large portions at a great price. Clean and modern setting as well. My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area.
Great meal, unique options and favors. And very good value for the money. We will be back.
Gro-osssss. This place is so gross now. cold food being served, terrible management. and they dont even care! 0/10. and the salsa was 95% water. yuck!
Usually don't post bad reviews on Facebook but here goes. Ordered a taco salad, there was basically nothing in the bowl. A little flavorless shredded chicken, a pinch of lettuce, a tablespoon of tomatoes and guacamole. We were also served a folded, uncut quesadilla with nothing else. No salsa or anything. The manager Pablo was rude and condescending.
We went there for dinner on Easter and it was the best. Food was delicious and drinks were outstanding. Our server was super nice too.
We visited this past Sunday for lunch. The salsa was full of chopped onions. It lacked any flavor and was disappointing. My husband said his nachos were good. I ordered fajitas and they lacked seasoning. They also seemed to lack steak as well. We may try it again but for now I'll stick to Santa Fe.
The food was authentic Mexican. The service, food, and atmosphere was great. I definitely will be back soon.
