Two stars because of the food and service. Like another review left said, if you're trying to turn off of decker into this location from the side of the road opposite of it at any time remotely close to lunch.... prepare to sit for an extended period of time unless you happen to catch a gap/good samaritan let's you in. I sat and waited for 20 minutes while cars from the same side of the road funneled right in and the issue is caused by the "express lane." Folks just trying to go and pick up lunch are using 1 lane and it's not enough. Figure it out management!

I wanted to give them 5 stars so bad because the service is excellent. You added this mobile drive thru and that took away the second lane. The traffic in the street now both ways trying to get in. The mobile lane doesn’t be full at all and I go 3 to 4 times a week getting a cob ? during and after rush hours. Management need to fix this asap you losing money!

This chick fil a sucks they won’t let you dine in or go inside and order a take out since Covid began and apparently they are still using it as an excuse not too . They had two lanes for drive tru only , and now they only have one lane for drive thru and one lane only for orders on the mobile app . I went for lunch today and accidentally got in the mobile app lane they have the lanes roped off so you are trapped having to sit in line 10 minutes for nothing . After the 10 minute wait the only lane for drive tru was backed up several cars deep onto Decker Blvd . I will never return here again until and unless they reopen the inside . And personally I don’t believe them when they say we can’t reopen the inside because of lack of employees . It seems to me they have plenty judging by all the employees working outside .

The manager Gisele is very rude. The worker didn’t tell me I needed to scan QR code to get my mobile order that I already waited 20 minutes for. I get to window she comes out very rude bc you didn’t scan QR code well if you’re worker didn’t know how am I at fault. But to tell mr to get back in line is unacceptable & not good customer service. Gisele needs more training of what it is to be a manager.

I've been a customer of the Decker location for going on 3 yrs. I don't know what has changed at the Decker location within the past year, but it hasn't been for the best. As if inflation isn't a struggle enough already, customers like myself still choose to frequent stores and restaurant establishments. It's becoming all to norm that this Decker location proves they are not for their customers. After 12 hrs into a 16 HR shift at the hospital, I decided to use my 30 min lunch break to grab a meal and coffee from Chick-fil-a. 20 of my 30 mins wasted all because they wanted charge me extra for sugar. No where did it mention, not even from the staff when I ordered, that there is a limit on sugar. Now, I'm not a coffee drinker. I like my cream and sugar with a splash of coffee. I've ordered it several times be for in three years I've been in Columbia. I have asked for extra packets from customers when I do Food Deliveries as well. I would suggest that if there is going to be a change like that to at least post the new info about the changes, and to let staff know. That way they can inform the customer during ordering and not waste so much of their time waiting in line 15 mins just to drive away hungry to finish out a 16 HR shift.

Even though the line was almost to the street, we got our food quickly. The best thing is the food was hot, fresh, and the order was correct.

The food was of course excellent...but it was the only Chick Fil A I've ever been to that didn't at least apologize for screwing up my order let alone do something to make amends. Glad I don't live in that area.

They have been slacking lately at this location. First they got my order wrong, then served me cold food after waiting in line almost 30 minutes for it. Sweet tea didn't have a tap of sugar in it.

They usually do a great job with my order. Decker rd Columbia SC - I ordered 2 Peppermint chip milkshakes about 45 minutes ago. I didnt look at or taste them before pulling off, because they've never gotten my order wrong. When I got home, I had 2 cookies and cream milkshakes. I went right back to return them. A different person was taking orders. He said the girl who took my order was supposed to tell me they were out of Peppermint milkshakes. The refund was painless, but I'm still not happy about hwasting my time. Ugh!

This is a very good fast food restaurant. Their order accuracy is fantastic and the food is always exemplary. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the consistency of how long it takes to get through the line.
