Went there last night with my husband and son. Never again. We asked our waiter for a few more seconds before taking our order and apparently, to him, a few seconds meant 20 minutes. Could totally understand if the place was busy. It was not. I ordered three beef tacos and my husband ordered chicken mango tacos. My son wisely declined ordering. Three beef tacos. How do you screw up three beef tacos? For starters, the taco shell both smelled and tasted like peanut butter!!! WHAT??? And never mind what, but WHY???? The "meat" was so mushy and barely warm that I couldn't get past the sick feeling that not only was I eating undercooked meat but it wasn't even seasoned!!!! When I complained to the waiter, he told me that the temperature of the meat was likely due to the lettuce and cheese. Ummm, okay. My husband ate one of his chicken mango tacos and woke up sick this morning. I have no earthly idea how this place has a rating of 8/10. It was the most vile food I have ever eaten. Taco shells that taste like peanut butter? Meat with a pulse? UGH!!! *The one star was necessary in order to post this review. They deserve no stars. In fact, they should give me a few stars. What a disgrace.
This was my first and last visit to this establishment. My sister held a small birthday celebration here and it was a horrible experience. The waiter rushed us the entire time and checked on the other tables in the restaurant and practically ignored us. We came during “happy hour” and were still charged full price when questioned the server told us happy hour took .75 cents off. We then asked to speak with the manager regarding our experience and she approached us telling us the happy hour prices before we could even tell her the dilemma. She explained that only beer was apart of happy hour which is not what the server informed us. She continued to cut my sister off as she told her about her experience the manager then walked off while she was speaking . As we took pictures outside the manager came outside to us and made a rude comment about us not leaving a tip. I am not all the person to not leave a tip but I have never been treated with so much disrespect in a establishment before.
I am giving this place a 5 star review today because they were able to accommodate us for Mother's Day with no wait time. The waiter was friendly and quick to move which wasn't good but we didn't complain. The mango Frozen Margarita taste good but had to drink it fast because it was watered down and didn't stay frozen long at all. Didn't taste any alcohol i guess they saved that for the next group . So it was fair for me . Since he didn't asked how I wanted my steak cooked it was actually cooked welldone and with these bad teeth I couldn't do a thing with it . LOL
Not worth it at all. I had wayyy better Mexican food than this. I ordered the Mexican corn & I honestly made Mexican corn better. I also had the pollo fundido & it was majority bell peppers. I asked them to cut the chicken in small pieces but they didn’t. 0/10
Tonight marks the last time I ever go back to Casa Linda. After waiting 45 minutes for my call in order, it turned out it had been ready the whole time when I walked in the door. It took several minutes for anyone to help me at all, nobody seemed to care that I had been waiting to pay for my order, and nobody bothered to just read the receipt on my order that had my name on it. Taking it home, I realize that the order isn't even correct. Thanks for making my family's dinner an ordeal tonight.
Great atmosphere and great food! They have THE BEST salsa and bean dip. There are also some healthier options if that is your thing.
The service was good and quick, which is what You want when going there for lunch. The food great.
Tonight we had our work Christmas dinner. First they wrote down the wrong date for our reservation that we confirmed 3 times with them. So we had to wait for tables. The waiter was very rude. Once we were seated we had to wait to a very long time to order. Took forever to get our food. A couple of the ladies didn't like their food asked for something different, waiter was very rude and let them know that they will be paying for both meals. Few ladies bought drinks at the bar. The bartender who served them left and the waiter recharged them for their drinks on the tabs. 2 ladies that had non alcoholic drinks that were paid for at the bar were recharged for the same drink as an alcoholic beverage. Waiter lied and said he made the drinks himself. No he did not. Waiter also asked where is tip was if they didn't write it on their check. Who does that. Who ask for tips. Very very unprofessional. Asked to speak to a manager and of course there were no managers on site. I will never ever go there again and I will not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
It was my first time trying this place. I had chicken, beef and shrimp fajitas. The food was absolutely delicious!
This is a YES from the whole family! Angel and Santos are the best waiters. Everything is delicious!
