Love this cake and bake shop! Great vibes, great service, excellent quality goods. They take pride in everything that they make as well. Everything in here is so good and yummy!!! I love to just pop in and get some cookies, I absolutely love their chocolate chip!!! ?❤️
The cupcakes were absolutely wonderful! I ordered one of each: almond raspberry, vanilla bean, triple chocolate, chocolate raspberry, red velvet, strawberry vanilla and the cookie package with a chocolate chip, peanut butter and sugar cookie. My family and I had to taste each flavor cupcake! The cupcakes were moist, flavorful and just delicious! The chocolate raspberry was our favorite. The cookies were incredible. We will place another order soon to taste the other goodies offered. Highly recommend ordering or visiting.
Discovered the fabulous cupcakes at this place last year. Recently I ordered a set of lemon cupcakes and a marble cake for our family get-together. They were outstanding! Cake was rich and delicious with beautiful presentation. Cupcakes were so irresistibly good. Highly recommend ! (Also, staff was friendly and accommodating).
I can always count on a super friendly greeting and impeccable service….not to mention the gluten free items (coconut macaroons and carrot cake cupcakes) are delicious! I’m sure the other bakery delights are even better but I have a mild GF allergy so I try to refrain. The owner is super sweet and welcoming!!
OMG!! Part 1.. Ok so this is 2 reviews in 1! Saddle up because here we go! My fiancé is from Columbia SC and I was throwing him a surprise and very last minute birthday bash. So last year (3/7/20) I found CCB and decided to come in to the store (Side note I also visited 4 other bakeries in the area that very same morning) I needed a cake and cupcakes for the party done because the party was same day...THE ABSOLUTE MINUTE I WALKED IN I KNEW I WAS GOING TO BE VERY PLEASED! I opened the door to CCB and immediately got hit with this very strong and deliciously fresh smell of sweet treats being baked. One of the owners, Sharese (absolutely spelled that wrong i think) was in and since it was early morning nothing was set up for sale (because she bakes it ALL FREAKING FRESH SAME DAY ??????). I explained my dilemma and she gave me the most honest straightforward answer about expectations. HOWEVER, after giving my timeline she offered to sell me one of the 2 or 3 cakes she makes to sell daily outside of the custom orders she makes for customers. I left at about 1030 am and at 615pm (Yes you guys I was late picking up my order BUT SHE WAITED FOR ME ???????????) I returned to the store and JIMINY CHRISTMAS IT WAS PERFECT! The cake she suggested was the Red Velvet Cheesecake cake and HOLY HOCKEYPUCKS it was frighteningly DELICIOUS. All of the guests were angry they only got 1 slice ? The ding dang cake was that freaking good!! To top it off she made 2 of every cupcake she offered and packaged those as well (i had no knowledge of what cupcakes would be available I just knew I needed 12 to 16 cupcakes) I had 1 AHHHMAZING cake and 12 TINY LITTLE DELICIOUS MONSTROSITIES in my possession to this birthday bash (which wasn't a surprise because due to me being late the birthday gent was with me during pickup). After the festivities (and fisticuffs over who would take home the last 3 cupcakes) were over, we drove 14 hours back home (as we do not live in SC and were only there to visit my in laws at the time) and i could not stop craving these freaking treats! The worst part is I promised an amazing review after i spoke with the owner a few days later (yes yall i called to tell them how freaking great the treats were and how happy we were) i completely forgot to write my review (for March 2020) and I ended up forgetting the name of the bakery because i am a terrible person ?.Part/Review #2...ONE YEAR FREAKING LATER ??? So once again me and my fiancé drove to SC (we are headed to Florida for vacation) and 3 hours into our drive (yes at this point we were about 10 and a half hours away from SC) I got the immediate and very strong urge to devour a dimmy dang cupcake. Not just ANY cupcake..it had to be a cupcake from CCB....so you guessed what happened next right? Welp....my people I took a detour! Yes yes I know! And if youre wondering yes i am a fatty so if you didnt guess that part there it is. Guys i arrived in SC at 415am today and it is 12:22 and i currently have 8 cupcakes and 1 lemon bar in my possession RIGHT NOW!!! ??? These things are so dangerous that i drove to SC to satisfy a craving i can't seem to handle when i am not in SC....i know this has been quite a lengthy review so here is my end to it...If you live in or near Irmo South Carolina and you haven't been to Cake Collection Boutique then you haven't truly lived! And if you don't live in SC but are looking for a place to ruin your happy existence with its spectacularly addicting, beautiful and unique bakery treats then do yourself a favor and hop on a plane, train, bus, or jump on the back of the largest hawk you can find and get your butts down to CCB and get yourself some treats! The employees are amazing the establishment is always clean and welcoming and the baked goods? Wow - wow - wow!! So good. Stopped by while I was waiting for our dinner at Chapala. I am so happy that I found this lovely bakery. I brought home a red velvet and marble cupcake. Absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!
They are pricey and didn’t follow through with our specifications on cake. Won’t use them again!
Paid $96 bucks for a cake that looked like it was incomplete and didn’t have Happy Birthday on it when I picked it up. I got lots of excuses and told them they need to do something with the cake. They made it look better in a pinch, but I was still displeased. The cake was moist but I asked for strawberry and strawberry filling and even that was a miss. Super disappointed and will NOT return. I was so excited about this cake and when I showed up, I was completely deflated I nearly cried. I should have just gone to Food Lion or made it myself. Lesson learned.
