Cute restaurant, very friendly and inviting staff, but the food just wasn't my jam. Queso (cheese dip) looked more like sour cream and tasted different than regular melted queso I've gotten from El Mariachi grocery/eatery. Salsa bar was interesting concept, a self-serve type thing, but what was labeled salsa tasted like tomato soup and had same consistency of soup. Bean dip was good, and great cover for the queso. Kids had chicken fingers with rice, because well, kids. Chicken was dry and bland, no one ate it, but they loved the rice & added cheese on top. Husband had Asada Enchiladas and he said it was pretty good - steak was great! I had the Bean & Cheese Burrito and it was pretty good. Rice was bland but fine since I eat it with the Burrito. All in all it was a nice experience but I'm not sure if we'll be back.
Very good service and food. Yohana the waitress was great. Quick and nice. I got the pollo bowl and it was fresh and best I've ever had. Streak salad was also very good. Two kids got kids meals that were priced well and kids ate it all. Would recommend for a nice environment and can even sit outside on nice days.
We tried a meal that had high reviews. It was awful. Birria tacos. There is no flavor. Although it didn't take long to get meal but while we were waiting the drink server dropped a cup on floor picked it up and put ice then drink in it then delivered to a table. The waiter was as nice as can be but we will not be back not knowing what else was dropped on floor. We spoke to the manager about our meal and asked if we could get something else. He was very rude and said we would have to pay for 2 separate meals. So we decided to go with the 1st meal and suffer through it. If you want to try it add every condiment they have to try to add some flavor to the extremely bland meat.
Nicely decorated restaurant with outdoor seating also. Service was good. Lots to choose from on menu. Food came out sizzling out. It was all delicious and nothing was left over. Staff us friendly and helpful. Restaurant is clean and bar area is really nice. Bathroom was clean and stocked. Good work folk's!
They were very busy for Cinco de Mayo but seated after short wait. Problem began when food was delivered to our table and one item (Caesar Salad) was not what teen child thought it would be. The waitress never returned to our table so ended up splitting my meal with child. The other food was okay but not the quality I was used to from BB. When we finally saw the waitress and asked to have the salad removed from the check she argued that it was a Caesar salad. I tried to explained that it was not what we expected but then she leaned toward my teen child and started questioning her if she ordered it. I told her to speak with me & leave my daughter alone. She did finally take the salad off the tab. When I tried to pay I had to wait another 10 minutes before someone would take my payment. We were patient b/c they were very busy but no one should start questioning some one's child like that. Disappointing visit due to service & quality. Please update menu to show what your Ceasar salad is like.
Staff was very courteous, food was excellent and atmosphere was great. I will go back again.
food was a 10/10. highly recommend. will be back.
Absolutely delicious. Always great food every time we go and prices to me are reasonable. Molcajete Burrito is by far my favorite and their horchata is amazing. We always try to go once a week for a delicious authentic California Mexican meal. Reminds us of home.
If we could leave 10 stars we totally would. From the bean dip they give you with the chips to the salsa bar to our food, no other restaurant compares. We went to Mexico on our honeymoon and none of the authentic food we ate comes close to this. We will drive the 35 minutes to eat here from now on!
My kids favorite place to eat. They love it here. Margaritas are good too which is harder and harder to find these days. The molcahetes (spelling?) Is really nice and great for a low carb option.
