Ordered chopped meat with rice and ribs. I did not get one rib and was charged $14 l. Returned meal and was expecting a freshly fixed plate.Nope, they wanted to charge $7 extra for a rib...which was supposed to be included. Mac &cheese had no flavor, hash and rice nasty. Chopped BBq was chunky and not good. CORNBREAD...IS DRY! YALL NEED TO COOK & SERVE WITH LOVE BC THAT FOOD WAS NOT IT! FIRST AND LAST TIME?
Barbecue (Little T - hash & rice) is always tasty. Mild sauce gives the meal just the right favor. Vegetables are seasoned well, collards, cabbage & green beans. Mac'n cheese excellent. Staff service really has improved. However, cornbread which is an all time favorite with barbecue is still a challenge, as most of the time customers are told "we ran out." It's cornbread. Really???
Food was good as always but the attitudes of some of the women who work there needs to be addressed. I witnessed them get very snappy with a few customers. Didn’t realize the big t dinner only comes with one vegetable now. The lady heard me ask for macaroni and collards. She very nonchalantly slapped the macaroni on the plate and closed it. Didn’t even have the decency to tell me they changed it. Had to order my greens separately even though the menu hanging up clearly says it comes with two sides. I’d rather take the drive to the one in the country. Cindy always treats u nicely.
So it went like this….Walked in…. No welcome… cool!I go to the register…. The lady says “order dine there”Me:? go dine there to place order.Her: what you want?Me: let me get the hash plate please?Her: what else?Me: what else comes with the hash plateHer:? blank stareMe: looks at menu cause at this point my mind is made up to never come back EVA! So I go to pay for my food but forgot my drink. I literally had to almost stand up in the refrigerator to get my drinks while they sat there and watched. UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNBOTHERED (the staff) I pay for my food and walked out cause never ever again. Ion care how good the food is. Customer service is wack??
oh my goodness uhh they have the best gravy Jesus help me? and I enjoyed my whole meal it was worth going cross town ?
Best BBQ in Columbia! They still are only "To Go" and we get take out once a week.
Brought a Big t dinner. The greens were extremely over cooked. The pulled pork on the dinner was not fresh and have been re heated to many times. The ribs was fatty and greasy as hell. The ribs looked not good at all and they taste even worse. I threw away both trays of ribs. Long story short. I WILL NEVER go eat from here again. And will encourage everyone I know to stay away from this garbage dump!
Too much sugar in the collards, bbq chicken was extremely dry, Mac and cheese wasn't what I expected. The banana pudding was too yellow as if they used Jello pudding in it. The tea was ok.
Great food! And not expensive. Good portions for the $ you spend!
People were sweet...bbq sauce was not what was expected since it was mustard based and the collards were not what this southern girl expected. May be a great option if you like this type of cooking...just not for me.
