3 stars for the hash/rice and ribs. The brisket was definitely over cooked, too dry and too thick. It could not be eaten. I asked for one slice but got more. I see why they were so generous. It should have never made it out of the kitchen.
When I tell you I finally went and got some smoked pig feet and rice I know I know don’t beat me up to bad! It was so delicious and the pork steak was juicy and had that perfect tear. I won’t be going back for the pig for a while but the other smoked meats are good too
My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch while driving through Columbia and we picked the best spot! We both got pulled pork and the meat, sauce, and sides were all incredible! Service was very friendly and quick. We will be stopping by the next time we're in the area!
This weekend I went to try Big Boys omg I bought a rib and chicken dinner with hash and rice, collards, and Mac n cheese it was good but the Mac n cheese needs a little more cheese and creaminess! I lovedddddd the chicken it was so moist! Next day I tried pig feet and rice with chicken again yes it was very delicious!!!! I will be coming back every weekend for the chicken! Amazing portions and oh yea I almost forgot their desserts! Red velvet cake and banana pudding is the best!!!
The BBQ is so juicy and tasty. I had ribs & pork chops with green beans, baked beans and the mac n’cheese. My dad got pulled pork & ribs (beef) with mac n’cheese, corn, and the baked beans. The meats were fantastic, sides were standard, and the portions huge! Definitely will go back next time better prepared, no tables or places to sit so will come ready to take the food for a picnic in the near by state park.
I LOVE Big Boys BBQ! I love BBQ in general, but I am amazed at the different ways places cook BBQ. Clearly some restaurants do a better job with their BBQ than others. From my perspective, Big Boys is one of the best of the best (especially in North East Columbia!) I love their BBQ and their staff does an amazing job (very friendly environment). If you have not eaten there, you are missing out! Highly Recommend!!!
Great smoky taste. Fall off the bone. BBQ just like my brothers would make and there's are the best. So glad they're open.
All the sides were of good portion except the potato salad which was very small. I specifically went for the turkey wings but they were out so I opted for the chicken which was good. Everything was good overall & staff was quick & courteous!!
I wish I could show y’all the banana pudding but YES I will be return food great customer service amazing even when I came in the last 15 mins on a Sunday the food was still hot & delicious! Highly recommended
Only 1 bad meal out of 10+ visits. Portion sizes are usually good for price. Smoked turkey wings are delicious. Check bag before leaving to make sure correct sauces were given. Will frequent establishment until I can't. Good food!
