My first mistake was thinking it was going to be similar to Chinese food. I ordered the hibachi shrimp and fried rice. The shrimp tasted like a CRAB BOIL ? was very disappointing. No grill flavor or nothing ! I’m assuming they cook everything in one pot. The menu sucks! Crab boil, shrimp boil, mussels..etc like we needed one more restaurant that sells boils! The chicken was ok.. I had the spicy and sweet. Won’t be going back.
Very fast service, the seafood boil was good. They use the bag boil method, however, which I'm not a huge fan of. The staff was super friendly, but prices were a bit on the high side (although you could easily feed two on what I ordered.) If you go I think i would recommend the lo mien, as I saw several people eating it and enjoying it quite a bit.
Excellent food with wonderful service. My family and I stopped here for lunch and we very pleased. The young lady and gentlemen taking our order and service were sooo polite and gave excellent customer service. The food was reasonable.. no cheap. For 3 meals and 2 soda we paid $44. The food was Devine.. we absolutely enjoyed every bite .. we will definitely recommend it and will be back.
I only tried the house fried rice but the rice had zero flavor. The way the rice was cooked, I couldn't tell the difference between fried rice and hibachi rice. The customer service was non-existent like most of these restaurants.
If anyone is looking for AMAZING takeout hibachi, look no further They are always so nice over the phone, and the food is phenomenal - I usually get the shrimp & steak and it’s always cooked exactly to the temp I ask. My boyfriend actually ordered food tonight for just himself (I’d eaten before I got home) and they called him back to make sure he didn’t mean to order two plates and they’d misunderstood. It was the most customer-conscious gesture I’ve ever experienced! Try the lemonade. ?
My visit to SC was great, I enjoy good food and service. This Asian Express has exceptional quality and quantity, very rare. The kitchen was visible and the staff friendly, thank you for amazing food and service. At check out they show you your food and present it, for assured satisfaction. Wow if your looking for take out, this is 5 stars highly recommended.
The store is super super clean no smell what so ever. Seafood cooking and no smell I was inlove. I ordered 3 orders of flavor wings and shrimp fried rice. Everything was amazing. Big wings cooked to perfection and the shrimp is seared to order for the rice. I was so surprised and delighted by the portions. Worth every penny. I can't wait to try more on there amazing menu
I ordered the snow crab legs and shrimp meal and it was best that I've tasted since returning home to Columbia, SC. The staff was friendly, and the facility was very clean. If you love perfectly seasoned and prepared seafood, you need to patronize this location. You will not be disappointed.
I tried asian express for the first time last week and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and fried dumplings. Everything looked and tasted great. It's finally nice to have a place where I can get hibachi food and it not cost an arm and a leg. And the amount of dumplings you get, is pretty decent for the price you pay. Will definitely be a frequent customer. I only gave 4 stars as I have not explored more of the menu.
(11/21/2021)Just leaving there and to come home, the rice is over cooked or maybe it's old. The Wings looked like they were cook twice. Rice doesn't taste like fried rice more like steam. Never again
