We’ve stayed at this Courtyard several times pre-pandemic and been very satisfied. Our most recent trip was a huge disappointment. Our room was not cleaned once during our three night stay. We had to call for towels and the were unceremoniously handed to us in the evening in an unfolded jumble. The shelves at the store in the lobby, which usually a good stopping point for the things that a flyer can’t bring on board, we’re bare except a few forlorn Dramamine. The cafe in the lobby doesn’t open until 7 so you are out of luck if you are looking for coffee earlier. The menu was dramatically reduced despite the line and the fact that the hotel seemed to be full. The front desk was often unmanned and there was a line of us that had to wait for some to emerge from the back. My overall impression is that travelers are back but the Courtyard is not.
Stayed overnight before entering my new home in Clemson the next morning after 17 years in the Mohave Desert NV. Great hotel, very well managed and everything just purrrfect. Marriott quality came with it at a very reasonable overnight deal. Will certainly recommend to friends.
Stayed here several times over the past 2 years. Well kept up, friendly and helpful staff. If you are going to a football game and parked on the North side of the stadium, it’s a direct drive up Hwy 93. Can’t go wrong choosing the Courtyard by Marriott.
Overall a nice stay. The room was spacious clean and comfortable. Thee complimentary breakfast was a nice addition They are very focused on keeping everything clean and sanitized My only complaints was my bathroom had no shower gel for bathing. Secondly the. Wi-Fi was spotty which must be ongoing given the sign posted at checkin. The rooms are a bit dated with no USB plug ins for mobile devices
I called the hotel with a special request for a hotel room and conference room for my son who attends Clemson and had an all day virtual job interview. Although there were less expensive options in the local area, Jessica was pleasant and helpful by offering me different options. We went ahead and booked our stay and my son had no issues. We have stayed at this hotel before so we already new it was clean with a professional staff. But it was my conversation with Jessica that nudged me to book the stay.
This property is clean and convenient,the design is contemporary. The staff is very professional and helpful. Very cozy feel to this property. The mattress was a little soft, but it way quite okay. I would certainly return to this property.
The rooms were the best we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive we didn’t want to leave The bed and linens were of high quality and comfortable and the shower was big and extremely nice
Visiting Clemson for the weekend with high school aged kids. This property is first class. Really friendly staff. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Lobby has great areas to relax. Just minutes from the university and other local spots. Would stay here again and again on future visits.
Friendly staff, convenient location, spacious room. Quiet room on 5th floor, comfortable bed and nicely sized bathroom with large shower stall. Would stay here again when visiting the area. Breakfast in the morning was very good with eggs, chicken sausage and potatoes— served up quickly and fresh!!
A perfect hotel for the price. The amenities were all top notch. Clean safe, comfortable room. Good working WiFi Helpful staff and the Bistro has good eats at fair prices. It is convenient to Clemson university of course, but I booked my room here in order to attend Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta. I highly recommend this hotel.
