My first experience here was great!! The food was delicious with fast service, but the most memorable part was definitely the service. We had Owen as our waiter and he was amazing!! He was incredibly charismatic and charming and really made the whole experience incredible!
We arrived for our reservation at 5:10pm and were promptly seated. When we got to our seat we noticed that there were dirty dishes still on the table next to us, which raised some red flags. We ordered our drinks and apps. The drinks came and the dishes remained. The Bisque we ordered finally came, but it was cold and we sent it back and the dirty dishes remained. We ordered our entrees and the people 2 tables over got up and left, now there were 2 tables with dirty dishes. Our entrees arrived and the bisque we asked to be heated up still hadn’t come back, the 2 tables with dirty dishes remained. We had all ordered steak items and all of it was over cooked, tasteless, or both. I ordered a filet mignon medium rare with wine reduction, it came medium, chewy, and relatively flavorless. The people seated next to us got up while commenting on the plethora of dirty dishes around us. Then there were 3 tables with dirty dishes sitting on them. We finished our food while adding copious amounts of salt to make it tolerable. We asked for our check and still 3 tables with dirty dishes on them remained. We got up from our table and there were now 4 table in a row with dirty dishes on them. I would not be surprised to learn that they are still there while I’m writing this review. I work in hospitality and I can tell you that this was bad. Really Really Bad. Pixie and Bill’s should lower their prices because all aspects of the service I experienced left a lot to be desired.
I have always heard of this place having grown up in Easley. Great steaks, they said, great service they said, well maybe. We went with a group and I ordered the ribeye medium rare.I got my steak and it came out, no joke, looking like charcoal. When I cut into it, it was medium at best. And it was about a half inch thick. I truly could have gotten this steak at waffle house for half half the the money.Everyone else in our group said that the food was great.Plus we had a large group and I did not send it back knowing that everyone else would be done eating by.the time a replacement came out. After we ate, it took nearly an hour to get our check and get out.Don't go there with a large group even if you made prior arrangements with the restaurant.Don't order the steak.
Went to pixie and bills Saturday, had a reservation at 5. A 10 year old seated us laid our menu on table and never even said a word. Waited 15 minutes for waitress no one came. I will never walk through those doors again. Plain and simple, they suck. That was last thing I said when I left.
Service was great- checked with us often. The toast points with toppings was the best appetizer we tried. Most of table had ribeye steaks - all said they were excellent. I had a shrimp/prosciutto pasta dish. I do low salt as a rule and this dish was extremely salty. I know,I know, it's a dry cured ham dish but still very salty. Strangley no one got the prime rib which I heard guests really brag about. Desserts ( hot fudge sundaes and cheesecake) were a wonderful end to the meal. Top notch service in a old school standard in Clemson .
This place is absolutely phenomenal. Rachel was our server and she was excellent. We tried a little of everything. Shrimp and portobello app. 16oz prime rib. Best we've had. Blackened shrimp and scallops. Delish. Topped it off with Makers Mark pie with chocolate drizzle and whipped cream. And a cup of coffee. I would definitely recommend this place. It has a wonderfully romantic atmosphere with dim lighting and nice quiet music. It was fantastic. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.
Absolutely one of the best, if not the best restaurant in Clemson. The food was amazing and the staff was on point!! Thank you Rachel!
Consistently good, I go here almost every time I am in Clemson now and I am almost never disappointed. I commonly get the rum runner's ribeye which is very tasty but you cant go wrong with any of the steaks on the menu. The pasta dishes are okay, just over seasoned (like they dumped lowrys garlic salt all over the pasta). I tend to stick towards the front of the menu.
I got the Blackened Ribeye and Scallops. Scallops were great, Steak was kind of tough and cold. However I was in a large group. Grilled squash was good. Servers did a good job and were pleasant.
