Good pizza, order is usually right. Closing times are a tad confusing to me tho
The pizza is always hot and fresh and the delivery is always on time! After living in Clemson for 5 years, I couldn't ask for a more consistent pizza experience!
More often than not this location only offers delivery and not carry out. Tonight I went to order on their App at 8:45 and it said the location was closed. I called and they explained that they are only doing delivery the rest of the night. That’s great if you live in their delivery zone (I do not) and you want to pay extra for delivery. They have a pick-up window, I cannot understand how limiting orders to delivery only helps their business. Oh well, we’ll try one of the other dozen pizza places instead.
Order took almost an hour and was delivered cold. Manager was rude and hung up on me when i tried to explain the disappointment of having a pizza delivered cold. I would not recommend this Papa John's if you want your pizza delivered in a timeframe as promised and you want friendly service!!!
Most of the staff are very friendly, the food is food quality.I've been here twice so far, both times I ordered a 14" Pepperoni Pizza: the first time everything was perfect, the cashier was friendly, the food was ready quickly, and it was as we asked for. The second time, the food was ready quickly, but the item was incorrect (a cheese pizza instead of pep) and when my s/o went in to correct the order, the cashier said, "The pepperoni is under the cheese." We ate it anyway, and it was still good, but I reccomend making sure you get a receipt if you go here.
Second time picking up cold pizza. It will be the last. Online order said 40 minutes but apparently it was done much earlier. Why papa johns doesn’t have an warming rack, is beyond me.
They shut their system down so that you cannot order online and then charge you way more to call and place your order. And then when you call and ask the manager he freely admits he does it and says he doesn't care about the business or you having to pay more for your pizza. Go figure. They will never get my business again.
Good pizza but difficult to get in and out of this place. The garlic butter spread makes the challenge worth it
