Malaysian fusion was very good. Asian and jalapeno blend was quite spicy and delicious. Brown rice cooked perfectly. Sesame chicken over broccoli and string beans was good.
Ordered the General Tso chicken take out meal which was a total of $21.04 after taxes. This simply came with the chicken and rice and nothing else.I ordered mine extra spicy and the chicken definitely delivered a kick, which I loved. The taste was on point and the chicken didn't feel cheap or pure breading, as it was like I was eating pure white meat chicken.I feel portion-wise, it mirrors other normal Chinese takeout dinner portions.My only ding against this place is paying over $21 for a General Tso chicken takeout meal is kind of up there. Maybe as a dine-in restaurant price, I can understand as they would probably dress up the meal to mirror the "fancy & high class" look and environment of the restaurant but if I am simply taking the meal to-go, this meal shouldn't be over the $15 price as it isn't anything super fantastic and fancy. I simply tried it as I am currently on a military TDY and I have this thing of trying Chinese General Tso meals from highly rated Chinese places from all over the U.S and this place fit the mold.At $15 this meal is definitely worth it but at over $21... I'm one and done.

Absolutely delicious! So many choices, we need to return. Gyoza was some of the best we have had. Sushi rolls were delicious.waitress was friendly and attentive.
Absolutely delightful dining experience! Management and staff were dedicated, professional and courteous. The meal was prepared exquisitely and was plentiful. So much so, I had enough to take home for a second meal the next day. The atmosphere was cozy. Parking is was little limited, but with such great dining I can understand why. Reservations were not needed, but I do recommend that you call ahead to see if there is a wait. Please stop by soonest, you will not be disappointed. I had the Zen Styled Fried Rice - House Special, but my true delight was the Banana Party shown here.
Great and authentic food, good music and excellent service. Our server was very knowledgeable. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended for couples and families.
Outstanding! Ate at the bar 4pm. Victoria top shelf! Everything we ordered was hot, fast and fresh! Rock shrimp rocked. As did lettuce wraps and sushi rolls! We got Twister and King's Speech! Highly recommend. Well earned 5 star review!
This is our go-to sushi restaurant in Charleston! I was dubious when we first moved here and told that this was the best sushi in the area by close family members. Seriously? In West Ashley with all the excellent restaurants on the peninsula? In the last two years of living here it has become our weekly ritual from which to order on the weekends. Always packed! Great selections!
Food always delicious!! Very good presentations. Staff take care very good and thoughtful. Well I’m Asian, finding a great Asian restaurant in this state is not easy. And this one it’s my favorite so far.
Love this place! The sushi is some of the best I've ever had (and I've had sushi on 4 continents). The service was friendly and fast. Definitely going back. I always get a West Ashley, and then try some other roll(s). In the past I want impressed with "fusion" restaurants, because it just seemed they poorly mixed together ingredients from two cuisines. Zen has got it right! You'll love it
