Asian Asian Fusion Japanese

We stopped in to celebrate my partner’s birthday since he loves Asian fusion. Some things were excellent and others were a miss. The drinks were ok but nothing spectacular. Service was decent though the food seemed overpriced even for Charleston. We sat outside since the weather was nice. I may give it another try when back in town but I wouldn’t put it on top of the list.

Food was delicious but waitress was rude and disrespectful. She made comments that were insulting when we couldn’t pronounce the dishes. She did not engage with us and actually seemed aggravated that we were there.

Loved our dining experience! Our server was very helpful with providing suggestions on amount of food and specific dishes. We ended up ordering 5 dishes for two people. That may have been one plate too many, but there were too many good options to choose from. We enjoyed everything we ordered—especially the pad kra pow. We would definitely return to try more things.

Our food was simply amazing! Our server, Miles was so helpful. He told us what to order and everything we ate was fresh and delicious. We’ve never had food this interesting, yet so delicious!! We also ordered a vodka mule and it was great too!!! Don’t miss this treat while In Charleston!!!

Highly disappointed with this place. Service was awful (nobody looked at us, helped us, or seemed to want to talk to us). Employee berated our dietary restrictions (vegetarian--not complicated or unheard of). Overcharged for the meal based on agreed-upon price. Rude service overall from start to finish, and the food was really not worth it--too spicy and too salty and not enough depth in the flavors. Only redeeming quality is that the owner called to talk about the dining experience, but still, I was very disappointed with the restaurant.

Nothing on their limited menu that isn't spicy except rice. Kind of expensive for what you get (I had 5 dumplings and small side of bok choy for $17). King Street is nearest parking. Some other dishes l saw looked good, but was told that are very spicy...not for me.

Greatest dinner in downtown Charleston hands-down I would like to see other dishes aswell at this restaurant. Also you get a bang for your buck and quality food I will waste my money with this restaurant any day. Cool headed professional staff as well. And the way they make takeout is so beautiful I just slide my food right on my plate when I get home. Very humble natural atmosphere no TVs.

Excellent flavor. The cabbage pancake is the hit. Great for couples, but I am happy the kids where not with us. Couldn’t find something kids friendly on the menu. Most of the dishes are too spicy.

Ate here because several locals said it was one of the best places to eat in Charleston. Place is fairly small with both indoor and outdoor seating. We went at around 530pm on a Monday. By 6:00 it was crowded. We had a large group but were able to sit together. Entrees are served family style. We ordered one of every entree and appetizer. Our favorites were the pork noodles (we got 3 of those), the okonomiyaki (a Japanese cabbage pancake) and the Brussel Sprouts. But everything was fantastic. There is very little parking. It is mostly street parking. Service was excellent.

Interesting exterior but warm interior with great service. Friendly staff, and I love that there’s the option to buy the kitchen a drink. They offer Taiwan beer, so automatically a win for me.The rice and papaya salad were great. Papaya salad was decently spicy and crunchy with all the right ingredients from my experience having been in Thailand.Would definitely come back.
